  2. Hmmm, how did I know that this would end up on the forum?? Sometimes you just get a feel for things I guess. My side: I made a offer, but don't think I'm crazy enough to buy a bike without riding it, or anyone else on the forum I bet. You wanted me to give you till Weds. (this is last Sat. when I talked to you) to see if the other guy could come up with the money, I hesitated but bikes are a dime a dozen, and said Weds. is cool. Your meeting with Skullcrusher didn't go well by the sound of the message you left on my phone and you now want to do something on Monday. I basically don't want to go through all the hassle of trying to make it to the bank when I'm working, arranging a ride, doing the notary blah blah blah. At the end of the conversation I tell you Weds. (my day off) looks like it's might be the best day, I could tell by your silence you didn't like that even though you asked me to wait till Weds. just a few hrs before. Sunday night I start getting text that you want to do the deal Mon. and I need to let you know my schedule. Rule no.1, don't be demanding of buyers, you weren't doing me any favors. Like I said it's a bike and you were offered a good price, have some patience give people some space. Not that it makes any difference but I'm the one who sold your wife's bike for you, I made the phone calls, and then you want to dog me on the forum. Like I said I had a feeling it would end up on the forum (some peoples entire life can be found on here...sad). Whatever it's a nice bike from what I saw of it, I really am glad you sold it, it just wasn't worth the hassle I saw coming down the road for me. Too many irons means to busy on my part to have texts coming in trying to hurry me. That's my side, let the drama begin. Just wondering, I know you said you don't let anyone ride your bike, but say I rode it before I gave you any money and I didn't like it, would that be good for 14 pages.

  6. All I can say, as the lone witness to the event, is that I walked into Kevin's garage and Jinu was standing on top of an orange crate, dick in hand yelling "Just fucking pierce it before I change my mind!!!" Kev rushed it, closed his eyes and stuck the yellow man's thumb instead. In Kevin's defense, it was the largest of the potential targets. So while a pierced penis is known as a Prince Albert, Jinu received a Prince Kevin. Either way, I am stuck with that image as it has scarred my cerebral cortex. In other news, walther, heal up and get to the track.

  7. I got no issues with this... as I've stated in every one of these threads, my personal opinion of the subject doesn't account for much...I vote for the rights of the people, whether I agree with them personally or not.

  8. To be clear guys, I am not bashing IM. I am just stating what occured. My experience with them is limited to one single (failed) transaction. In reality, it is unfair to judge a person or a business based just on one transaction. When I looked up IM before all of this, there were mixed reviews but generally pretty favorable and I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I have nothing against dealers, but whenever possible or it makes sense to do so, I try to steer my business toward small business. Like I said in my original post, I don't think that IM intentionally did anything to be shady or scam me; I just think that from my limited experience there, one hand has no idea what the other is doing. But if someone cannot use a shop forum to relay an experience (good or bad), what good is the shop forum? I won't post anymore except after IM replies, if it does.

  9. Mojoe, yes I was with 5th SFG. Were you? I don't think using 5thSFG as a screen name belittles it. If you were with 5th SFG and take offense, I apologize. But if you were not or you were not with any other Group and still take offense, then...that's just sad.

  10. Yes you are wrong and you're being a fucking tool. Just becuase you hated your job at BMW doesn't make the OP wrong for posting a shop review and informing OR of the shady business practices of a local dealer.

  11. Digging deeper. I suggest you stop before you hit the earth's core. If I were to see a great deal at IM I'd know to beware of being woodbury'd.

  12. What exactly is the point of the shop reviews forum if you can't post a review without being attacked and the truth of your story questioned? Lots of people on OR acting like douches lately Edit: Didn't see Justin's post above. Fail

  13. Looks like the OP was Woodbury'd in a way.

  14. What's the point of having a "Business Review" forum if everyone that complains is a ?OP put it out there, and let the public judge whether it's a valid complaint or validates IM's business practices. I don't know anyone that improves themselves without feedback, and why shouldn't that feedback be public?

  15. The thing is that by today's standards and the fact that we are a VERY social media based culture nowadays, companies need to be even more aware of customer service than before. The OP has all the right in the world to tell his tale. Why? Because others may want to do the same thing. This is a situation that was really, not harmful or even financially an issue for the OP, but it did hose him. What if he decided to not go with another deal on the same bike elsewhere and that unit got sold? He lost twice. Or, what if he declined a deal with someone and they sold it during this situation and he cannot find another one that suits him? The issue is that companies need to be aware and that people SHOULD come on to local sites to complain and tell their stories? Why? We all want to be educated. I know after some of the stories on here about IM, I won't be giving them my business. It's a shame, but the reality is that the deal here was SO easily avoided. But, poor decisions and poor management caused this to be a bigger than it needed to be deal.

  20. If you searched my house you'd find "survivalist gear" and I did some time in the military... And, if I were that intent on seeing this movie and felt that concerned that someone would try a repeat of Colorado, I would position myself where I had the best tactical advantage over the perpetrator and be defensively armed. His choice of seats seems to be the closest to the quickest exit/escape if the SHTF. Innocent until proven guilty.

  25. Whatever floats your boat. I had a 'friend' steal my entire vicodin scrip for my shoulder a few yrs back because he was a heroine addict. Do I still associate with him? Fuck no, but I forgive him and don't hold a grudge against him. Walking around being mad at people you're probably never going to see again isn't very productive or healthy. Grudges take up space in the heart, I have better things to fill mine with.

  26. Jumping to conclusions a bit, aren't we? I won't necessarily be surprised if it's a dipshit redneck who's confused about Sikhs and Muslims, there are stupid people out there, but at this stage it could be a lot of motivations ranging from fucking nuts to has a beef with someone at that place of worship. Isn't an automatic assumption of a dumb redneck going violent against foreigners the same type of propaganda and hate you're accusing others of?

  27. PC response: It seems like the worst part to all of this is that 5thSFG actually has the time to seek out forums where this dealer is a sponsor and bash their brains out over something so stupid. Did Independent screw you...sure Should they offer you a sincere apology...yes But if this is your biggest problem in life, I would say you are in a pretty good place amigo. Move on with your life and go find another BMW to buy. The deal at Independent could not have been THAT good, anyway. Actual response: Just for the record, I use to work for BMW of North America, and it was cry-baby faggots like you that made the job unbearable. I'm sure if you haven't already contacted BMW of North America to complain, you are likely working on it. And just in case you need the number, 1-800-831-1117. Ask for Jarrod , he's also a cry-baby faggot. People like you give BMW owners a bad name. The sense of entitlement is mind numbing.

  28. Hey Magz, for the 20th time, explain Switzerland's almost non-existent gun homicide rate for me. You can't and you won't, but it destroys the bedrock of your bias - the belief that gun culture (Switzerland has a longer, richer tradition there than we do), gun prevalence (one per household), and easy access to guns (again, nowhere on Earth is it so easy to put hands on an assault rifle) leads to violence. Your entire philosophy is built on bullshit. Look it in the eye, dipshit. Factor out black-on-black drug violence in the US, and then compare our homicide rates, gun-crime rates or any other kind of violence to Europe....we're lower than most countries there by a good bit. Our problems are the cultures of violence, the ghetto and our failed drug policies, and they exist with or without firearms. Don't believe me? Examine knife and blunt object violence in the inner city by young black men verses the rest of the nation? Guess what? Same lopsided statistics. Our problem isn't guns. Never was.
