Those on here that know me know that I know my shit when it comes to working on bikes...especially vintage bikes. I've been called 'captain carburetor' by a few members on a few occasions. That being said, there are some fucking idiots out there. I'm a member of several bike groups on facebook, one of them being cb 750 four. Someone posted a pic of a rack of carbs off a 1980 cb750 pointing at where the push cable goes and asking what went there. in the pic the butterflies were open and you could clearly see the slide in the throat and the chrome tops that house the vacuum diaphragms. The predominant reply was 'choke cable'. I won't go into details but after clearly explaining not only how cv carbs work, telling the guy where the push and pull cables and the choke cables go there were still people commenting on the page that it was 'obviously the choke'. One guy even stated that he works on cv carbs all the time and that the butterfly valves are the chokes and go on the intake side of the carbs. I wonder how good his bikes run... /rant over

I've got a couple jackets one leather texport(red/black) and a tecknic chicane textile (yellow) I'd let go for a song if your interested, should be your size think ones a 56 maybe the other a 54 or 3xl, can't remember off the top of my head.

If the Jacket fits you correctly then you will stop noticing the armor after your second ride...I am a believer in the armor.

GF got her first bike home yesterday, I rode it to the parking lot for her to practice on since it has been a while. Mine had a dead battery, took care of that today and made it up to fill the tank.

Having been in many motorcycle accidents I am a proponent of armor. Leather will keep your skin intact. Armor will help protect from deep bruising and broken bones. I'd much rather have a quarter inch of foam between my elbow and the concrete than just a few mm of leather.

I was also kidding. Please do not ever put anything in the barrel of a gun.

The steering stem hole is the perfect size for a powerlet outlet though

Um no, the butterfly valves are not the chokes nor the slides nor the bystarter valves on a CV carb. I bet those are the same hacks who pull pipes and airboxes, put on short shots and pinecone filters and then dump the molested, shit-running bike on CL with "ran great before winter - will be awesome after a quick carb tune." [emoji21]

Personalmente, me encanta castaño de indias b-ball, tanto como el fútbol, pero este equipo este año es difícil de ver. Las personas mayores son increíblemente inepta ofensiva, incluso después de 4 años en el programa de jugar con algunos muy buenos talentos. Amo Thad Matta como entrenador, él ha tomado consistentemente este programa a lugares que nunca he logrado de forma regular y trae talento fantástico pero el hombre, él y su personal realmente se abrió y se perdió en esta clase mayor. Me asusta pensar lo que sería este año w / o Russell corriendo el punto y llevar a sus culos en cada partido. Es una pena que un jugador tipo de una vez en una década como D'Angelo tendrá su única temporada universidad pierde por tener que jugar con algunos tiradores-lo siento culo que se encuentran en este equipo. I finished my garage. I did the insulation and drywall. It was my first time and I did rather well. I would be a bit more critical in this room.
