  1. May consider this if no other plans prevail -- let me run it by my short-fused boss...uh, wife...and chime back in with an answer

  2. Then don't wear gear because it won't save you every time either. Or you can wear gear, run high beams with a modulator (I do) AND drive defensively because you want to do everything you can to stay alive.

  3. Make me spend a ton of money with you guys. Just wanna give another rave review to Riders Discount and Mike.. Ordered a Vance and Hines Fuel Pack 3, Kuryakyn Curved license plate frame, and Bassani Road Rage 2 full exhaust. as always really great buying experience, great pricing, and fast shipping. hope my exhaust makes it in time for my trip over the weekend. Mike puts up with me constantly asking for pricing and availability, so thats a bonus lol.

  4. Friendly reminder, riding wheelies on a highly traveled 2 lane road with a speed limit of 55 probably isn't the brightest idea. So if you were with the toolshed that was riding wheelies today about 7pm on Alton Darby in Hilliard please just stop. If you hit my truck head on, I may feel like I hit a bug, possibly a cat, nothing more. You however will be dead, I would rather that not happen. Come on people, I doubt it was anyone here, but let's pass the reminder around not to be a fucking moron. Mmmmkay, thanks.

  5. Awesome bike shop in springboro ohio. I currently had some work done there and was expecting a pretty hefty bill, but the work done was superb and ended up being way less than expected. They were really helpful in every way possible and even came up with solutions to save money and even did a couple little things for no charge that I was going to do myself. Also I was surprised they didn't do work requested that didn't need done that I thought needed done, which saved me even more money since most shops would have done the work or lied about doing the work if the part was still good. I would definitely go back to this shop for all my future work. I have been to 4 other shops and have been displeased with the service and prices I have been given, but I have finally found a regular shop. I have a feeling I will be back really soon since I have put down 900 miles since this past sunday and will do another 1500 plus between now and next wednessday.

  6. Well even though I'm not even in Ohio anymore, I've stayed connected to OR through both my personal account and my time with Riders Discount. But, I'm turning the chapter and will be moving to Huntington Beach in California in about two weeks to pursue a new opportunity marketing within the motorsports industry. I'm really excited (and nervous) about this move and can't wait to see what's in store! I'll check in from time to time and definitely can't wait to read about your long winter while I'm on the beach.

  7. Did you post a thread with pics? I seem to remember that from last year.

  8. Alrighty then, might as well go ahead and throw on some hi viz and even have some modulators running......they will still run you over and or merge into your lane. You have loud exhaust too I hope, my understanding is that loud pipes saves lives. Read up on the SMIDSY maneuver and watch this video, that is the issue with motorcycles and cages when the cage drivers are not distracted by their cell phones.

  9. It does work. But you keep on thinking it doesn't and do your thing and I'll do mine. Let me rephrase that. I does work because it's better than nothing but feel free to continue doing nothing if you like.

  11. Almost took out a deer at 60mph a few nights back. I was taught to brake, or swerve, not both. I practice sudden stopping at some back road intersections and am glad I had. When the deer ran out I swerved, he followed, then I braked. I locked up at least one of the tires for a second, but I think practice saves everybody time, money, pride, and livelihood. I think that, generally, "laying down a bike" is deferment of fault.

  13. Your not a midget, more a garden gnome. So, its a gnome, a midget and a hairless ape? Sounds like a circus act or the beginning of a bad joke.
