I've worn it literally a month (Receipt provided on request) but I want to step to a Shoei or an Arai unit. A lot of places love this helmet and for the price you cannot beat it. The helmet moves quite a bit of air, is quiet and has both removable breath guard and interior liners. I might take you up on that, I have my 4 runner but I don't want to borrow a trailer for just my bike by itself.

I wouldnt suggest any less than a leather jacket, gloves and ovber the ankle boots (helmet should go without saying) Really if you ride at your own pace its all up to you, thats just what I felt most comfortable in.

I would say for every lame one I've met that I have met one at the opposite end of the spectrum. Some cops are really cool and are genuinely out here to make the streets safer and not just to meet a supposed quota
