  1. TJ was our #1, Chad is useless, and even more worthless without TJ since they have been together since college. I hate to say it but I smell a shitty season for 2009
  2. I have heard cross drilled rotors can't be turned and now I see why. The link I posted shows the guy using some sort of rotary stone.
  3. I read that article yesterday in my mag. My rotor isnt scored . And Rotors can be straightened just like most other parts. Im just checking my options right now. As for "turning" a motorcycle rotor, according to this guy's website, the pictures show a rotor being turned or resurfaced, whatever you want to call it. http://www.framestraightsystem.com/Motorcycle%20Brake%20Rotor%20repair.htm
  4. Hey Ruben, I was sort of directed your way in a conversation about "straightening" warped brake rotors. Here's the deal. My front brake rotors have a very slight amount of run out and I can feel them pulse on a scale of 1-10, maybe a 3 or 4. They have a little run out due to years of use and not from a crash. I dont want to get new rotors because mine are polished and would prefer not to have a new set of rotors sent out to get polished again. Is "straightening" warped brake rotors something you do? If so how much and what is your turn around? Thanks.
  5. Priceless Nick, your rep does say you are a post whore.......
  6. I'm planning on going up, I think Nick is too
  7. Dude that sucks Larry. The bitch probably just needs money with the bad economy and this is her only way. I hope this gets thrown out.
  8. Id rather have a throttle sync tool inseted of the feeler gauge method. I still need to see if I can get hooked up or see if I can get it from a person I know at the Honda Shop Troy
  9. I never had it apart other than putting the chrome clutch and stator covers on. The guy that does spray chrome keeps forgetting to send me samples and he is too busy with the attack monster race bikes. Guess I wont be getting any more chrome this year..... . Im just going to put that money to other things I guess. Id like to have Dustin do the valve adjustment and throttle sync and get the bike to dynotune motorsports before the end of March if its possible while he is running a special discount
  10. I checked out the guy's website from Tenn and it said $10-80 per rotor to straighten depending on severity. According to the pictures on his site. it looks like he machines the rotors the same way rotors are turned for a car. By cutting them down, it eliminates the run out. I cant see this being too expensuive at all. Plus, I dont want to ditch my old rotors because they are polished to match my chrome rims.
  11. Does this guy you mentioned that moved to Tenn straighten slightly warped rotors too? When I mention warped rotors, I mean warped just from years of use, not from a crash. I talked to a guy in Cali at GP Frame and Wheel but he never got back to me about sending my rotors in.
  12. Can't your connections at Honda Powersports of Troy get you hooked up?
  13. That Grabit looks cool and everytime I see it on TV I want to order it but they are useless whan you dont have room for a drill in the area you are working
  14. I would take you up on it Brooks, but I have a speedo healer already. out of curosity, are you going to make it adjustable, or set it up for a certain fixed gear set up on what ever test bike u use?
  15. nope, still salt on the road. I might start them up and let em run a little bit though
