  1. Are you buying from a used dealership? if so make them run it. Or see if a local dealership can run it for you for a small fee if you are buying from a private seller.
  2. If you are bored you can add a 2001 CBR F4i, lol The 2008-present Ninja 250 seems to be pretty popular too. A lot of people might like to see the eager 250 get some attention in the eyes of potential performance upgrades.
  3. The F4 on craigslist that was linked to would be a perfect starter bike. Very comfortable riding position and Hondas are the easiest to learn on IMO due to the not so aggressive riding position.

I always liked those things and they sounded so good with Yoshi pipes. you have too many toys KC
  5. Nice tool Brooks. I'll check it out when I am at home with me manual. I have the Haynes book for my bike, so I dont know if it has the gear ratios listed in it. It would be cool to see what my actual top speed it at my current set up vs. what my speedo says with the speedohealer
  6. Thats cool that we have something in common. A couple models I am in charge of are built at ELP
  7. I'll take a sample. one quick question....do you smooth the surface before laying this down? for example not all wheels and calipers arent smooth like glass and before they are plated, they have to be smothed out. is sanding the part to a smooth finish part of your process. or do you just spray the part, whatever texture it is? I only ask because the website looks like they spray any surface, smooth or not. I understand it is to show that it will adhere to any surface, but didnt know if the normal prosess included sanding down the parts or if that is extra.
  8. My favorite group is Adrenaline Crew. Those guys have funny skits inbetween their stunts. Kinda like Jackass.
  9. I figure its easier to just list what you have auction style that way you can set your lowest price you want, and if you get lucky, it will get bid up higher than your minimuim and you made more money than expected. Plus its easier, and they way I look at it, you dont have to report earnings for taxes like you might have to if you have an ebay store
  10. What's the difference between listing everything auction style and having an ebay store? Are the listing and selling fees cheaper? what's the advantage over auction style? I have sold a bunch of random things over the years and always worked out pretty well for me.
  11. I was going to ask the same. He looks so young.
  12. Sell drugs. Not really legal but it will get you to your destination
  13. Just put Engine Ice in it Jarvis. It is track friendly and will still keep your block from freezing
  14. Looks like I will have to fill up the propane tank with a burner on it to heat up the garage a litte when I get to work... I really hate the cold
  15. +1. I checked out the website and it seemd legit and as good ad chrome plating. I requested a sample from spectra chrome and cant wait to see it. Does the finish ever have to be polished or how do you car for and clean the sprayed on chromed products? Also, does the 3 layer coats retain heat like chrome plating does? I wish I would have known on this a long time ago when I got into having things chromed. I could have saved a lot of money
  16. Haha thats funny. I am addicted to chrome. You should have him do your plastics Larry. No more spraypaint every year Funny, real funny I will deffinately be checking this out. All I have left to chrome is frame, subframe, clip-ons, clutch perch, calipers, and front MC. AttackPainter, will this work on rotors? I currently have polished rotors but was thinking about replacing them.
  17. I started mine a couple weeks ago and it was music to my ears. I drained the oil and took off the clutch and stator covers to send them out for chrome. I shoule be getting the covers back by the end of the week (keeping my fingers crossed). It was decently warm when I took the covers off, I had the garage door open, but now its going to be freezing when I put it back together.
  18. This snow is killing me and putting me into vegitative clinical depression. Its too cold to chill with my bike in the garage but I do look at it everyday when I put trash in the can
  19. I did'nt get the newsletter either
  20. I think this is a great idea Casper!
  21. $528 a year seems pretty high for a 250. I hear that state farm figures prices based on engine size and that a 250 should be real cheap to insure. Jackass isnt my thing for bike nights. I went once last year. The band playing is cool but there are so many drunks riding home and people smoking pot along the fence, it makes it dangerous for the rest of us that arent under the influence of something. Another thing I hate about Jackass is how dusty the bikes gets after being there. But I cant stand to have a dirty bike so it bothers me more than it would bother others. I dont like the thought of parking in the grass. Their bike night is really cool and the turnouts are huge but as a sportbiker, I dont feel as welcomed since it is mostly a Harley crowd. Quaker Steak and Lube has some pretty decent turnouts. We will hit them up on Thursdays a few times for sure.
  22. Welcome to Dayton area. Cant wait to meet up with you on some rides. You will love riding with us Dayton folk. And an early FYI.....keep your Thursday nights open when it gets warm. That is our dayton ride night where we go to different locations for some food and easier riding compared to sundays.
  23. Expect for when Auto sales arent doing too good. Honda cut production and is only working 3 day weeks. Our plant had to lay off all the temporary workers but managed to let us work 4 days rather than three. We basically work on Honda's schedule since we do just-in-time inventory. We are a Japanese company, so a lot of things are different than American ran companies.
  24. I am a sales administrator at F&P America, a tier-one automotive supplier. We make pedal and subframe assemblies. 90% of our business is from Honda and we also make parts for a few small GM SUVs, a little Toyota business, in the process of aquiring Nissan business, and have done Ford and Mitsubishi in the past. I would rather be around bikes and dont really like my job but it pays the bills.
  25. I got the second one and there was nothing in my spam box either
