I did get another project. I picked up an rc51 sp2 last fall and am already getting into it as my next project. I am also needing to unload this to fund some other household projects on my list.

Main selling points for me...run for many miles, and the sound. Im not a huge fan of the 2bros pipes, but its better than stock for now. Been trolling the rc forums a little bit and havent heard of Moriwakis, but then again i wasnt looking too hard either. I will have to find some sound clips for sure

dont scuff anything if your wanting to remove down the road...i didnt. Clean wells with some acetone or something similar. Go light on the first 2-3 coats, then you can lay it down a bit thicker. I put about 6-7 coats on my wheels...the more the easier to remove when you want. Use index cards to wedge b/w tire and lip of rim instead of masking.

About to pick up an 03 Rc51 on Friday. One owner bike 18xxx miles Two-Bros cans PCIII I mainly wanted to buy it for the sheer monsterous sounds that ive grown to love with the vee bikes. Will repaint it however...satin black right now, but not the greatest finish. Any other RC owners out there?...What common problems have you run into with these beasts?

Did the wheels on my runner 6 months ago....powerwashed, off roaded, and doesnt collect dirt too bad at all. They are the black rattle can plati-dip finish...its nice because when i spray tire shine on tires...i also go over the wheels as well if i want to glass them up
