these flow .5liter per minute is says...i was considering getting 2 pingle petcocks which flow twice that...conversed with engine guy about it and he said it be pointless. the ones i got will do fine supposedly. now i just have to get the bungs welded in and the tank welded up and that will be one huge milestone done. too bad the place i ordered the bungs from cant ship the right order.

i talked to the guy putting the engine together...he said something that flow of petcocks isnt too much of an issue as long as it flows enough to keep the bowl full. but honestly, i dont know shit about carbs.

New stuff... got some universal harley petcocks...one for each side of the frame tunnel also picked up a headlight guard...found it on jegs as an intake stone gaurd from spectre...ill make it work finally got the cowl made up...went from foam plug to glass mold the almost final product...i think itll work for being my first fiberglass project. this picture i took the cowl which was seperate from the seat pan, and am bonding them together with more glass.

I came across a picture of a cafed out honda with what looks like a sv650 rear wheel. I have the idea to use that on my own cafe project seen here... http://www.ohioriders.net/showthread.php?t=68121 But before i buy one id like to get some more info that i cannot find from searching. i know the axle is the same size as my stock cb500, the rim width is only is 4.5 and stock wheel is 4.0 on the honda. Im wondering if some one knows or has the ability to find out..."what is the width of the rear wheel assembly...being from outside the rotor to outside the sprocket?" Appreciate any and all help. Thanks

not sure...but im getting antsy. waiting to hear from engine guy...says hes putting a parts list together and will get back to me on pricing... General To do list: engine tank(welding) paint/powder electrical upholstery rear wheel(sv650?) Those are the big things. Money is also slowing things down too.

tried my hand at some glassing too... man its a messy process. well see how it turns out...i know i didnt get all the air bubbles outta it, but well see. also, its cold out tonight, its going to take forever to harden. this is the seat pan...next ill have to figure out how i want to do the seat cowl.

Got some more goodies today... found them on superbrightleds.com and thought they looked cool. now i just got to figure out how to mount them. i tested them using a 6v lithium battery...i hope theyll be bright enough with a moty design battery i plan on getting. i figure ill wire up the outer eing as the running light, and have the inner ring come on with the brake.

will do...i work at carmax out that way...might stop in on my lunch some time.

O yea picked up a wheel rotors and tire off ebay the other week... Seat cowl buttered up... start sanding tomorrow

New Pics: welded the seat rail and pan in... got my rearsets in and mocked... working on making a plug for some fiberglass work on the seat cowl... will be working with foam this weekend...will update

im giggling like a little girl with excitment at the thought of seeing one on the road soon. anyone seen a price yet?

UPDATE: ...dropped the frame off to get some welding done... ...Front end almost complete...just need to install stem bearings and fab up a steering stop... ...rearsets on the way...

i hear ya...i need fluid and a seal...let me know if you find it.

ive been looking myself...only found Beechmont motorsports and Cycle Specialties...but have not had them do any work yet. looking at 200ish from either place.
