yes definitely. I snowboard like a newbie but i'm getting a little better. I had a few near accidents last winter from trying to keep up with my friends.... ... but yeah, we go every couple of weeks up to mad river or snow trails. I'll let ya know when we go!

I have a trip to colorado to go boarding early january, so I have to practice some or i'm gonna come back broken and mangled. However, if there's crappy snow, i'll definitely be at the party... maybe I could bring something that isn't food. I'm just really bad at food... I'll volunteer up some ... I'm taking a bartending class for fun... maybe I could make us some tropical drinks to practice

mmmk... I wasn't by any means implying that you need jacket advice... or any other kind of advice for that matter. I was just saying, if someone was looking for gear advice, they don't have to read all of this thread. I definitely think that people were trying to help this kid (jacket advice, other advice, shitty with his free stuff), but it included the sarcastic and sometimes funny remarks of others... I'm kinda suprised with how riled up you got about this, that you wouldn't understand why other people got so riled up about what this kid was doing. You're saying things about how people in this thread have a attitude and think they're perfect, but you're in here calling them pathetic and acting like you're perfect. I'm not trying to be bitchy here or anything, but I just think you're doing the exact same thing that you're trying to say that you're upset about everyone else doing. *sigh* hopefully this doesnt start anything.

oh... and sometimes people need to be called out... sometimes its in the middle of a jacket thread, sometimes its about serious issues - insurance, sometimes its about chicken wings.... just imagine if nobody called that kid out that was "borrowing" money from everyone at events... he'd eventually be a thousandair at our expense!
