  1. does anyone remember when the guy jumped out of the stands, ran onto the football field and swiped the ball from favre?? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=INiyMrWxZ-E&feature=related that made me LOL... and it was my roommate's cousin, so I LOLed extra hard.
  2. Welcome, I ride to Shelby/Mansfield a little bit.
  3. meh. if for no other reason I would say its bc there's still this weird "women can't do 'car' stuff on their own" thing that people have in their heads... so to most men, women probably actually 'need' help more... I wouldn't say its bc they think they're going to get laid...
  4. um... yeah... I grew up in an area where if you started even think you might like someone you find out all of the last names from at least 3 generations back before you commit to liking them.... I still use that rule.
  5. jerkface. I'd like to think I'm doing things for the sake of others and not myself, so if you don't mind leaving me in my little bubble of illusions and lies, I'd appreciate it.
  6. awww, that's sweet. Idk why but that reminded me of one of my friends that used to go up to women and say things like "you're so pretty I'd take you to ponderosa" ... good times.
  7. interesting... she might have said that. Ok ayn rand... not everybody is, or thinks like, you. That whole *non*-altruism thing, while it makes sense, is kinda BS.
  8. well, that's bc you're an asshole.
  9. These pics are amazing. I've never ridden with more than I can shove in a backpack and underneath my seat.
  10. yeah, I am moving slowly aren't I. I cleaned the kitchen today and am about to do some real work for lab (from home). Its funny how something so small can take it out of ya like this. OH, and I had to share this, bc for who knows what reason, this made my day yesterday. I was at bob evans, taking my jolly time getting out of a booth, and this guy in some sort of race jacket walks by and says "you ok?" (genuine look of concern on his face). I was bloated, my hair was nappy and in a gross pony tail thing, glasses on, gym shorts... I scared myself when looking in the mirror... point is, he wasn't asking for any other reason than to be nice
  11. its infinity!! You have infinite feelings!

  12. catastrophic failure... due to missing me? That's too bad.

  13. hahahaa, you MISSED me! Its ok big guy, I know you can't admit you have feelings and stuff... lol

  14. My helmet was only $40 so if someone wants it that badly, they can have it... I only take it with me if the weather is bad (rain, heat, etc)
  15. woot! pics (when it happens)
  16. you missed me! nobody around to challenge you or make you turn into a whiney little girl... :) Its ok bubba.
  17. yeah, they kept saying something about septic shock or something like that... idk, I was kinda out of it.
  18. Mr. Mayo has been a total sweetie. He's been taking care of me day and night. He would stay at the hospital and sleep or run into work while I was sleeping, then come back and take care of me when I was awake. He's been making me food, taking me for walks down the road (I'm like a dog now), and generally listening to me complain with a smile on his face the entire time. It was kinda funny though, he was being sweet and taking care of me on wednesday when the pain started, then on thursday, I asked him to do something and he sighed and rolled his eyes a little and I pretty much told hiim 'fuck off, you're an asshole" (it was the pain talking), and he took it like a champ! lol. I get cranky when I'm in pain, so I am sure gonna owe him something big when I'm better for him putting up with my cranky ass.
  19. that hurt a little. but, yeah, feels like it. As of yesterday, I was still retaining a bit of fluid and peaked at a solid 20lbs over weight. yeah... i guess that's what they ended up telling me when I went back. I had a fever of ~102 so I called to ask what they thought. They said come back in. They tested me, said my infection was gone, so the fevers are OK. Yeah, I have been pretty much just trying to stay away from anything that involves sudden movements... I'll keep the pillow thing in mind though.
  20. Oh, and for everyone wondering, I didn't mean "boy shorts" as in the underwear, I meant like elastic band basketball shorts... yeah. not hawt. lol
  21. appreciate that thought, but laughing hurts... smiles seem to be ok though. weird thing is, I drink diet soda (maybe one a week), fake sugar in the coffee, and hate milk.... idk, maybe less candy and cheese. ... hrm, kidney stones aren't all that funny. I could do without the jokes, but if you feel the need to pursue them, then I'll smile and pretend its funny.
  22. hey everyone, thanks for the positive thoughts. They ran some tests, said my infections are gone and I'm down to the kidney stone and that's it. If I could move fast enough to do a little dance, I certainly would. They said I shouldn't be too concerned about the fever, since the infection is gone, and I should try to control it with meds... whereas if the infection was still there, supressing the fever would be getting rid of the indicator of worse things happening. Anyway, I'm home again.
