  1. This is probably a case of "I don't get enjoyment out of it, so nobody else possibly can (or should) either" ... I don't think the world would be a worse place if she abstained.
  2. We've got our plans together! If anyone else is thinking about riding down and wants some company, you're welcome to meet Marlboro Man and I at McDonalds on Stringtown Rd. in Grove City at 8:20am. We're riding to Cumberland falls, hiking, then taking some back roads the rest of the way to the gap.
  3. That's probably for the best for me... I was thinking about how to come up with the money, and trying to figure out where I would store it
  4. aww, it better not rain on the way down like it did last year.
  5. I like the shorter of those two My seat is really uncomfortable, so I don't know if I can handle another 5 and a half hours from cumberland!
  6. soooo, what were the events leading up to this??
  7. Sound good. Let's tentatively shoot for leaving Columbus around 8am. We can meet off of 71 somewhere. I'll look at the map tonight. Shoot me a PM if you don't have my #!
  8. If its just me, I'm probably going to hit the highway and spend a little extra time at cumberland falls. I'm open to some back road options though.
  9. Oh, i forgot about the porn dog. lol.
  10. I kinda hope grape comes in here and schools us. I'm interested.
  11. The higher seer seems like a good idea for lower operating costs, but I'm not sure if it will result in a long term cost advantage. The reason that I mentioned not oversizing, from what I understand, is that if you end up with an oversized unit you may end up with loud 'air' noises, short cycling - which can reduce the life span of your furnace, and it is generally just more costly both to initially purchase and to operate. I'm pretty sure we have a resident OR HVAC person though.... *edit* tim got it
  12. So, my unprofessional thoughts... I'm of the idea that you keep big equipment like a furnace, water heater, whatever, until it can't be repaired or you are specifically trying to save $ by installing a more efficient unit. But, keep in mind, that when you need the furnace, if it does fail, getting it repaired/replaced is going to take more time and you might end up being chilly for a few days. I would think this would be simply how much money you have and how much of your convenience you're willing to risk for it. I've seen people have their equipment slightly oversized which is a more expensive than what it should be, so just make sure that nobody is trying to sell you oversized equipment.
  13. I'm not going to be super helpful, but do they spec out the size of the equipment in the quotes?
  14. or separate the two icons a little bit, one on top and one on the bottom?

I think Dianese has done a great job of starting to introduce women's lines that are directly designed for real motorcycle women, sadly I can't afford their stuff. Their design elements are simple - nice lines, fashionable, and not tacky... seems easy enough.

Tracy, I hear ya!! Pink on everything. Either that or it's all bedazzled. I think the ladies on OR should get together and make a line of motorcycle clothing

I had the same problem. I went to pony ready to spend some money but they didn't have my size in either of the jackets I wanted. The lady who tried to help me was really pleasant, mentioned I should come back next week. I came back and nothing changed.... Still not there in my size :-/ I think I'm a pretty average size so I'm not sure why. I've gotten lucky in the clearance isles once in a while, but they were men's items. If the women's market isn't there, we can't expect that they cater to us... But it would be nice if they did
  19. It's a science experiment... Sorry for being vague. I can probably explain it in a couple weeks. I plan on tearing them apart and rebuilding though, so I could use them even if they are in not so good shape.
  20. I just tried to pm you, but it said you can't receive any more messages. I'm out of town tomorrow, but I can take either of those options on Thursday - Gahanna would probably be the more convenient of the two.

    Sigh

    well that's unusual
  22. I'm probably going to try to leave Columbus around 8am, but if I'm going to be realistic, it will probably be closer to 9.

I can almost guarantee you're a better cook than me. I like to cook, but I also like to have a fire extinguisher in the kitchen while I do it

Every day of my life too. I agree, its ok enough when someone just makes assumptions unless they're trying to screw me over. I've embarrassed a few mechanics who have tried to trick me into expensive repairs that I didn't need. oh, traditional gender roles, lol. I'm gonna go do the laundry now.
