I'm slow, you definitely already answered my question. I was just in Spain in september. I only went to the east coast, but it was beautiful! I was in Barcelona for a week, which in my personal opinion was a little too long, but you can check out some Gaudi and the Sagrada Familia. There are nice beaches there too, but they're really crowded if you go during prime travel season (may-august). I also checked out Valencia. Its less of a tourist attraction, but has some interesting stuff to look at still. We found our places to stay out of a camp ground book. Most of the places you can pay ~$15 a night to stay. There are also some spectacular beaches along the east coast of spain. This is one that i could crawl out of the tent and walk 10 feet to see the beach.
