OH, and as an update, I doggysat my sister's dog for a week and since then, Cora has officially learned the art of fetching a ball. She'll only do it 2 or 3 times before she looks at you with the "what's the point" face, but she does it.

I'm getting paid that counts. I also have a part time job somewhere else too, so i do legitimately have a job that isn't school related!

My travel for work has so far been to Baltimore (3x), Boston (2x), San Francisco (2x), Traverse City, and just in July I got to go to Aalborg, Denmark. I tacked on a nice little vacay to the Norway right after. I was actually just annoyed with my daily commute though. I live 8 miles from work but it takes me almost an hour to get here, park, and walk to my building.

Do you really think the entire american auto industry would have collapsed, or maybe just the mismanaged ones and maybe the free market would have done what it is known to do and allowed the ones that were more practical business models to succeed (ford!). just sayin.... if GM had gone out of business, someone would have had to pick up their portion of the market... its not like everyone is going to be like, OK, well GM is gone, I'm not buying american cars anymore. Honestly, i don't keep up on politics very much, so correct me if i'm wrong, but from what I know, I don't think you can credit obama with saving the entire auto industry.

This is going to blow everyone's mind: I was never spanked! I was only grounded once or twice for a period of about 4 hours where I had to sit in my room. I don't believe I'm entitled to anything, and I'm not upset when people aren't happy when I tried my best but didn't succeed. I'm not a pansy, I don't cry when I don't get my way, and I work my ass off to get what I want. Believe it or not, to be a good parent, you don't always need to spank your children. That being said, I have seen children misbehaving that I thought that needed it.
