I usually ride with a snowboarding jacket to work, but that's about a mile ride. I ride until the road ices, but like I said, only a mile each way. It would be nice to be able to not freeze my ass off though

which piece of gear do you think is clutch for staying warm? I think my first purchase is gonna be gloves because my fingers get cold before anything else.

Heated gear is on my list... till then, the 6 layers isn't too bad. It was weird though, I was surprisingly tired after that short ride. Went for a little winter ride today. My car lost an accessory belt yesterday, so went to autozone and did some last minute christmas shopping. I don't have any winter gear though, so I went with a tank top, t-shirt, hoodie, 2 spring jackets, and the motorcycle jacket... oh and giant fuzzy socks to keep my legs warm. All I have to say is: holy hell its cold.

I think this is a good place to tell this story, I ran into Gen3 at a bar a week or 2 ago, and through my KBB beer goggles, couldn't decide whether it was actually her or not. So, instead of doing something logical, I wandered around asking people who I knew might know her if it was her, while she saw me doing it. sorry about that! haha

We decided and booked our trip to Bozeman Montana! With a side trip of snowmobiling and snow shoe hiking through Yellowstone. Going in January, so hopefully I can get a few other trips in before all the snow melts. I think we're shooting for a Mt. Hood trip in April/May. I would try to put together OR at snowtrails or mad river, but I don't think the weather knows its winter yet.
