Neons or LEDs? LEDs draw much less power and would for sure be fine.

Is it worth the chance of the helmet not completely doing its job? Nope. Don't take that chance, replace it. I've got a helmet that my ex dropped in my garage on the concreate floor from about three feet, and i won't wear it. And it was only worn twice before that happened.

I wouldn't run Rotella in my Diesel truck, which is what it was designed for, so I definitely wouldn't run it in my bike. Not that the Rotella wouldn't work, but there are better oils out there. It's the life blood of my motor, and I want to put the best oil in there possible. There are few things worth cheaping out on, motor oil is not one of them. I'm a big believer in synthetics and run them in every situation I can.

Do you run Moto Series? Their prep instructions are Water Wetter only. Wondering if they can tell the difference or if they care.

I like the idea of premixed, its easier if you need to top off later down the road (read at the track).

Here is some info about it. It can't really lower running temps, at least not passed the thermostat's operating temps. It does how ever cool down faster and takes longer to heat up.

I'd say the hero 2 is the way to go unless you want to spend $500 for the highend contour. Gopros mounts are better and you have more options. From what I've seen the go pros are easier to use as well. I'm very pleased with my hero hd. The highend contour has the Bluetooth that Brian was talking about but it also has a built in gps feature so you can track your rides on a map, and even view elevation changes.

I was really hoping to be able to participate, but I was unable since the bike didn't want to start today. It was great to see all these guys get together for the same reason, plus it just sounded cool. There was a wide range of bikes , two aprilias, a HD, triumph, BMW,yamaha, Honda, kawi, Duc... Pretty much covers all the bases.

I for sure can agree with what KTM-Brian is saying, for those at his level. I'd trust what he says at the track.

I hated the oem pads on my VFR, they had more than half life left and i still replaced them with the HH ebc pads.

Depending on the bike too, some of the oem pads are organic, mostly cruisers and touring bikes, ebc usually offers a sintered pad for these which would preform much better than the stock.

i run the ebc HH pads on everything, best pads out there outside of the carbon loraine ones. but those are twice the price.

When you get to the end of the life on a set of tires it's not uncommon to have some slight cupping issues. Like others have said, i'd check out the suspension settings.

So, how much horsepower did three chicks make? did you take them for a pull?

you might want to try to do some polishing and touch up paint on the bike. It's amazing how much better a car looks after a through polish and wax. color-rite.com has some pretty good color match touch up paints for those rock chips and small scratches.
