  1. Barlow. I grew up in the area, and have promoted that road as being one of the best in Ohio for a while now, I think you are the first person on here to actually drive it though, that isn't from around there. I may have to take that route when I go down there wednesday to see the family, it's been a few years. The rule for driving 550 is go as fast as you want in the 55 zones, but when the speed limit drops below that, you better slow down.
  2. http://www.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=15117203 I wish I had room for more than two dogs
  3. Hal, if you haven't already found a dog check out this pound: http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/OH692.html I just got my new dog there maybe a month ago. Super friendly volunteers that work there. They only charge $32 to adopt, but plan on taking care of vaccinations and nueter/spay yourself. Its a kill shelter due to size and lack of budget, I know that my dog was next in line to go when I got her. I've been to pounds that make you go through the wringer in order to adopt a pet, its always discouraged me. The drive was worth it to me, I really liked this place.
  4. ZOMG HUGE PLOT TWISTS That was a damn good episode.
  5. It was a 300ZX, and 9 years ago So yeah, rust. And with the stock engine, slow.
  6. It depends on how tight you keep it capped, crack the release valve just a bit and it shouldn't be too bad. Well, for you at least, I dunno about anyone else in the area.
  7. I used to do something similar when I was a kid, I want to say I used baking soda and vinegar in 20oz bottles but I don't remember if for sure if that was it. Basically any combination that creates an expanding gas will make a bottle explode.
  8. Chinese junk isnt so bad when its only got to last a short while before they outgrow it.
  9. Dave, the kids sizes come in 50cc and 90cc, sometimes i think you can find a 110cc also, but at that point may as well get an adult 250.
  10. Like I said on Facebook... Frogdog is not amused.
  11. Check to see if STI Spartans are in that price range, I'm not sure.
  12. So how come a while back when I said this movie looked good everyone talked shit?
  13. Started off at 315, weighed in a couple weeks ago at 260. 55 pounds and 4 inches off my waist in about a year makes me happy, but I still have a way to go. I'd like to take off at least another 2 inches off my pants size, and hit 230 before deciding how much further I need to go.

    Burn Them

If I was on death row I'd rather have a firing squad, the chair doesn't sound very appealing to me, and lethal injection is too clean for the viewers, they should suffer too.
  15. Agreed. I don't have a problem with any group that is kind enough to leave me alone. People that are wacky about religion (ANY religion) I find the be just as annoying as people that love telling the world about their atheism, which seems to have become a religion all of its own. The gay crowd is the same way, stop having marches in the streets and people will forget about the differences and stop hating.
  16. Check and check. And you quoted me before my final edit. What's the point in quoting the post directly above you, anyway?
  17. It's a pretty tiny round. Only guns that I know of that use it are the FN FiveseveN and the FN P90 smg (and whatever their equivalent semi auto civilian model is). There's been a lot of crying about it because it works like a rifle round, but is used it pistols. This is because rifle rounds are smaller diameter than handgun rounds and fire at a higher velocity in order to travel further. This design means that pretty much any rifle round out there is capable of defeating light body armor, due to the fact that they are designed to stop large diameter, low velocity handgun rounds. While the 5.7 is capable of penetrating body armor, it tends to not do shit once its through since it's not all that powerful, and its very small. I want to say that some of the deaths there were from friendly fire, but I can't find any numbers to back that up. Either way, 30 injured but not killed is pretty amazing, could have been way worse with a different kind of gun, and its probably fair to say that the only people involved in this that would have been wearing armor were the police officers, and the reports are stating that only two of the people killed were civilians. Considering the guy reportedly fired off 100 rounds or more, and around 44 people were actually shot, I'd say the round is pretty well worthless. Oh, and as for the CIA/FBI/DHS/whatever knowing about him and his ways months ago - that's fine, but without him actually doing anything illegal, there's nothing they could have legally done. I know this is a tragedy, but I agree with their inaction, as it falls in line with the protections laid out by the constitution. Preemptive action has no place here. I think the most fitting punishment would be to force him to do his job, just without a gun or armor...
  18. I don't think anyone on here owns a prius, which tells me something about the average person that owns one.
  19. My mom fell off a ladder at the beginning of summer and broke her leg. After two poorly done surgeries, she finally found a surgeon that was actually worth a damn that was able to do a third surgery to fix the first two. Make sure your dad is seeing the best doctor's possible, don't want him to go through what my mom did.
  20. Amending the rules sticky now, its been needing to be done for too long.
  21. In theory, drive by wire allows the computer to override non-driving idiots and keep them from losing control. As for traditional cable throttles, I've had more than one car get a stuck gas peddle. Usually kicking it would pop it loose. Apparently, neutral is a foreign concept for Prius owners, they kinda deserve to wreck in a fiery crash.
