I find myself disliking the department of homeland security far more than any political figure.

Just got back from the BMV. They issued me a temp tag off of the NY title, and said that I can take the car to them to get inspected. So, you DO NOT have to have the car titled in your name to get temp tags.

Sweet. I'm going to head over the the BMV here in town in a bit and see what they can do for me, but it's good to know that there's another place close by I can go to, thanks

I need to get temp tags on my buick, I need to drive it monday or tuesday. I can't get normal tags for it just yet, it has an out of state title, and I can't get it transfered until it gets inspected. It can't get inspected until I can drive it to wherever to get it inspected. So yeah, do I just go to the BMV with the title as is to get temps? I'm not sure how it all works.

Why is it so damned hard for people to stay out of other people's business? I'm not singling out anyone here, from what I can see this is humanity in general. If someone wants to worship turtles, who fuckin cares? It's their choice, and isn't bothering anyone. The only time it bothers me is when people come to my door to preach at me, thats when they get to meet my dog that likes to jump on people. If a guy likes taking it IDB, how the fuck does that affect me? If a law abiding citizen wants to own a gun for sport or personal defense, is it really that big of a deal? If a girl has an abortion due to a one night stand, and doesn't know who the father is, should the community be up in arms to stop it? I think its pretty obvious that the issues I have listed are viewpoints from both sides of the spectrum. For the life of me, I can't see how, when it comes to social issues, banning things help society. Sure, DMT or whatever that fertilizer was, was dangerous to people's health, but that's not what I'm talking about here. If you want people to live better lives, educate them better. Parents are taking less and less active roles in their children's lives, and morals are going down the shitter. Now, you don't have to be a religious person to have morals, seeing how morals are just guidelines for being a productive member of society. Don't kill, don't steal, how difficult is that? You want kids to stay out of trouble and off drugs? Give them something to do! Drugs don't make kids use drugs. Boredom mixed with a lack of a good influence (parenting!) gives children the opportunity to get into that kind of thing. Hell, this is a racing board, I know that whenever I have kids, they will have go karts, ATV's, and rifles that are kept locked up when I'm not at the range with them, so that they will be able to enjoy the outdoors and get into racing with me encouraging them along. These are healthy activities that get them outdoors, rather than leaving them to their own devices. But yeah, get out of other people's shit. Become better people. I'm more worried about someone breaking into my house than what religion my neighbor is or how many gays there are in the short north. Just because you disagree with someone, you don't have to persecute them and make them out to be evil, they are just different. The more respect you give to others, the more you will get back for who you are.

I hated the first one. To me, the entire movie was people walking around. This one was a bit more interesting, due to there actually being some action. I thought a lot of the things that happened were incredibly stupid, and I would like to say that I'm tired of trying to scare the viewer with sudden loud noises and bright lights to make up for a lack of edge of your seat drama. This is the trend I've been seeing for several years now, not just in this movie. I won't rate this movie, as I was biased against it before I ever watched it, due to my dislike for the first one.

Here's another question - I bought a car with a New York title. What all do I have to go through to get it titled in Ohio? Also, I couldn't find a place on the NY title to have it notarized, does it not need it?

I came in here to say 4Runner. I don't know of any SUV's or trucks that will give you better than low 20's gas milage. I think the new bodystyle 4Runner started in 04, you should be able to get an 04 or 05 in your price range. The 4.0 Liter they are using is a great engine, the only downside is that it requires premium gas. I think they can be found with 4.7 V8, but I'm not at all sure on that, maybe Joe would know.
