  1. WTF??? I got an email saying they did. I may see if I can cancel it and just give you cash, I'll look into it. EDIT: It's taking forever because I didn't have any money in my paypal account, so it has to wait for my bank to transfer in the money, then it will transfer to you. According to paypal, it's expecting to clear today.
  2. I'm back in town, so I can meet up with you sometime to pick up my ticket. Let me know what works for you, I'm on vacation this week and a few days into next.
  3. Good point, her car payments are probably rather similar to your "house" payments. I'll be sure to get right on that.
  4. You know, I've always wondered; Just what are payments like on a trailer?
  5. I'm going to have to agree with that. If you can find someone to tune it, just get a Quadrajet. If you can't find anyone to work on it, I would recommend an Edelbrock 600, and nothing fancy. If you decide to do any offroading, you'll want to get away from that Holley.
  6. make it a 60 foot race and i'm game
  7. Acid is fun! In all seriousness, I've experianced hallucinations while extremely tired. Could that be it?
  8. Why? It's not like they use them...
  9. Is anyone using the google chat program?
  10. shut up Rick There are a few individuals on here I would recommend contacting to get it rebuilt and tuned. They are: TurboRust (Derek) Desperado (Keith) Mr. Sigman (I think is the screenname he's using, Dave) I have no idea how long it would take to rebuild one, but i'm not so sure it could be done while you are eating dinner. Also, it is true that tuning those is quite complicated, but once it's tuned right, those are great carbs. People hate on them because they don't know how to work on them.

Isn't Myspace mostly used for dating?
  12. I hope to hell you are taking the next week off of work, for the sake of everyone you encounter. Sit in front of your computer and don't get up until that shit wears off.
  13. To whoever buys this: I've got a good running 13b from an 84 GSL-SE with ECU and tranny I would like to get rid of cheap
  14. so it probably needs an o2 sensor then?
  15. A few changes: It's a 2.5, not a 2.4 It's TBI, not carb'd
  16. A buddy of mine has an 84 Fiero that seems to be running rich, so we were going to adjust the carb, but we can't find the adjustment screws. Can anyone give some insight? TIA
  17. Marc's family talks more shit about him than his "friends" do :marc2:
  18. If you have reason to suspect they are drunk, I would let them hit more. That way, there's more of a chance of them stopping (especially if it's a hard hit), which means a far better chance of them getting locked up. I personally try to avoid swerving to miss anything, as the chances of something worse happening (like in your situation) are too high. I've been known to swerve at cars on the highway if they are having trouble staying in their lane. I have no problem with causing someone else to wreck if they aren't driving safely to begin with, at least it would get them off the road for a while. As for my stories....I was sitting in a ditch facing the way I came from about 3 hours after I got my drivers license when I was 16. I hit the gas too hard too early in a turn. The tow truck driver thought it would be nice to call the state highway patrol, so I got a ticket for failure to control. Second one was about 3.5 years ago. I was screwing with the CD player and didn't notice everyone in front of me slamming on their brakes. I managed to bleed of some speed, but i still rear ended a full size chevy truck at about 30 mph. I bent the frame, pushed the fan into the water pump, and needed every body part in front of the firewall replaced. I got the truck back a month later. The truck I hit needed its bumper pulled back out a little bit, but was otherwise fine.
  19. They just go buy what the manufacturer labels it. Honda thinks its a truck, so everyone else has to go along with that, no matter how much its BS.
