  4. For the record, Hell on Earth would be NYC.
  5. I've still got half a bottle of Everclear that everyone is too pussy to drink with me. It's not bad mixed with code red mt. dew, and it doesn't take much at all to get you fucked up.
  6. When you get home, back into the driveway. I noticed that it's downhill almost all the way to Brice. That way, you can just let it coast the majority of the way.
  7. That one is kind of a fill in the blank, it can apply to anyone. Here's an entertaining story on racism, in our own state. http://www.toledoblade.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20051015/BREAKINGNEWS/51015023

  9. just a hint: anything that looks like a picture file (like has a filename starting in IMG then numbers) but ends in .com is a PROGRAM, NOT A PICTURE. Be careful where you click. BTW, someone else sent me something similar the other day with a different link.

  11. what about a twin turbo 427?
  12. I toss my ciggs at cars whose headlights I can't see. Actually, I'm pretty considerate. If i'm in the fast lane, I'll get way over, and I always flip it straight down. I need to stop being so nice.
  13. Best wishes, Rolla. Take care, and don't be afraid to give me a ring if you need anything.
  14. I even thought about heading over there this morning just to "observe" but I assumed there would be COPS around since, ya know, the school asked them to be there and all.... On a somewhat unrelated note - I saw a Gahanna school bus pulled over on 270 by CPD today. I chuckled.
  15. He said he's tired of having to rebuild it every year. I think he mentioned thinking about picking up a turbo buick.

    wtf is emo?

emo's tend to be the depressed "nobody understands me/cares about me" group. I think it's an offshoot of the whole "goth" movement, only these people are even bigger pussies.
  17. Last I checked, that was the law Dublin has always been a speedtrap, I thought everyone knew that.
  18. I went to the last PRO gun show at westland mall, and there were rows of SKS's for ~$100 each
  19. uhh, what? locked i guess
  20. Is that a semi-auto gun? looks like it's got no recoil at all
  21. I'll share what I can, but I'll give him a call later this afternoon for some more info. Pay changes depending on location. He lives and works in West Virginia, but says he could make far more if he were to move here. I don't know specifics, but I don't think you will start off great. But it is a moderate to high demand job, so it's secure. I've known people to around here to start off around $10/hour mainly just driving ambulance. I don't believe you need any special training to drive. EMT and Paramedic are different levels that require different certifications. I do know that you have to pass state exams to reach those levels. My friend went to an EMT school for a few years before trying any of them. He's had to come up here several times to take a nationwide test, and claims no one passes it the first time. He loves it though, I can't see him doing anything else, but it's a rough life. He started off as a junior volunteer firefighter, so this has always been a part of his life. Most of the stuff he does is transports patients, but he sees some harsh stuff. If you think that there's any chance you wouldn't be able to stomach seeing people die, seeing people bleeding, etc, look at something else. He tells me that he always hates new years eve, and he has some stories to back up why. The only other thing I can think of offhand are the hour. Most ambulance companies (not sure about hospitals) run anywhere from 12 hour shifts to 3 days straight. The hours are hard to deal with. I'm not trying to talk you out of this line of work, it's comendable that you would want to help people that way. Just keep in mind that nothing about this job is easy.
