Meanwhile, I'm still bouncing in and out of both 1x and roaming both at home in Johnstown and work in Grove City, which is in sight of 270. My battery life is horrible because of it.

EDIT - all sold <Edit - the PSA and one of the Seekins are sold. The other Seekins is pending sale.> I have three AR lowers for sale. Two are Seekins forged, one is a Palmetto State Armory forged. PSA - $140 Seekins - $210 each The PSA has a PSA parts kit and Magpul trigger guard installed. The Seekins both have White Oak Armament kits with Seekins trigger guards, bolt catch lever and mag release button. I'll be selling them without trigger groups, grips, stocks, end plates, buffers, buffer tubes and buffer springs. They include mag release assy, bolt catch assy, safety selector assy and trigger guard. If you want to provide the rest of the parts I would be happy to assemble for you. I can also remove the kits and sell as stripped, $120 for the PSA and $180 for each Seekins which is MSRP, saving you shipping and FFL costs. One Seekins is unfired, and the PSA and other Seekins have less than 50 rounds between the both of them. PSA: http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/ar-15-05/lower-parts/lower-receivers/psa-ar15-lower.html Seekins: http://www.rainierarms.com/?page=shop/detail&product_id=3446 These are the Seekins upgrade parts used in the Seekins lowers: http://www.rainierarms.com/?page=shop/detail&product_id=3176 http://www.rainierarms.com/?page=shop/detail&product_id=3184 http://www.rainierarms.com/?page=shop/detail&product_id=3270

"Often" by force But not always And congrats on only reading one of the listed definitions

It doesn't have to be forced by law to still be segregation. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/segregate

I'd also like to comment on how back during the time period Paula Deen was referencing, blacks were used for entertainment. I'd like to challenge anyone to show me how that's changed in the way the public generally perceives that group of people. I'm not saying she should have said what she said, or said it how she said it, but what she said is certainly historically accurate. Had she said "Well, what I would really like is a bunch of little rappers to wear long white shirts, black pants and big gold chains, you know like Lil Wayne, they used to dance around" would that be more or less racist?

Columbus is pretty segregated as well. That's a concept that was only ended in the legal sense, never the practical. It's not rigid, for sure, but its very easy to identify white areas and black areas and Muslim areas and Jewish areas and gay areas and young adult areas and rich areas and poor areas around the city. True desegregation would have none of that, but everyone would be blended together. Humans by nature want to be around people they identify with most strongly, regardless of what that particular identity might be. Race, income, sexual orientation, religion, etc, are some of the driving forces behind that. Outside of America there is little tolerance for people of different cultures. Look at France - bastion of liberalism, yet they are passing law after law attacking Muslims. America is the only country in the world that tries to be tolerant of everyone, regardless of who they are, yet people do a very good job of separating themselves from each other without being forced to do so. There doesn't have to be hate behind it, it's just what happens.

This has been building up for quite some time now, the timing may be to their benefit but it's not why they are doing it. Of course the real reasoning is being guarded. Keep in mind, the Syrian government is being supported by Hamas (our enemy) and the rebels are being supported by Al Qaeda (our enemy) so we don't really want either side to win. So the possibilities that I see are: We are prolonging this in order to have as many casualties as possible on both sides We are fine with Islamists taking over another country through revolution, following in the footsteps of Egypt and Libya, probably bringing in Sharia law with them We want to fight everyone we can because MURRICA FUCK YEAH (That's why John McCain is all for it at least) We want the civil war to end as soon as possible and don't care who wins We actually care about civilians being gassed and believe its being done strictly by Assad Our buddies in Israel hate Hamas so much that they would rather their neighbors be run by the other bad guys. Of course, none of these possibilities include "it's none of our fucking business and they don't matter to us anyway" because that isn't an option for us. http://i412.photobucket.com/albums/pp201/copperhead035/Eagle_Emblem_Sm_Final_zps09eb475a.jpg

 It says it eliminates the 12 hour minimum training requirement, not that it eliminates the training requirement. This part isn't clear to me but I'm assuming there will still be some sort of training required. Offering non-resident permits is always good. More reciprocity is always good. Adding in NICS checks SHOULD be a good thing. In North Carolina when you apply for a CHL they do a background check that the Feds feel is good enough that when you go to buy a gun you can just show your CHL and they don't have to do another background check. If this is how it will work here then I'm all for it. As for stand your ground, I think that the Zimmerman trial will prove whether or not these work as intended. If he's found guilty then stand your ground might not be such a good idea.

Paging any LEO: Drug Related Issue - My turn for drama - Let's Discuss
copperhead replied to TTQ B4U's topic in Dumpster
I shouldn't have to do this, but I'm going to preemptively warn that anything off topic in this thread will get infracted. Tim, it may help to give an idea what police department would have jurisdiction. I wouldn't think you should have to be asking individual officers for this kind of help. Has local police been dragging their feet? Chasing the cash may be the angle to go. Money from the safe would be hard, but moving half a mill from one bank account to the next without authorization should be easy peasy to nail them on. I would think any judge would see that and be happy to sign off on a search warrant to allow officers to enter and look for the drugs. -

If it's me and my choices are raise prices or go out of business I'll raise prices every time.
-
If you understand economics then you wouldn't be calling every company out there a gouger. I don't have a problem with calling places out that raise the price on the prospect of scarcity, like cheaper than dirt. That place can eat a dick for their business practices. But with such scarcity as we have now, prices are what the market can sustain which is obviously more than you are willing to pay and less than what other people are willing to pay. So long as someone out there is willing to pay asking price there is no incentive for it to drop. Once not enough people are willing to pay asking price, supply will increase and prices will drop. Again, this is all econ 101, I don't see why it's so confusing.
-
So don't buy it. ECONOMICS Think about this. Small dealers don't know when they will get anything back in stock. They have to make the profits off whatever they sell last them until they have something back in stock to sell again. This scarcity versus heightened demand naturally raises the price point. Big time retailers have more money in the bank and more buying power, so they are able to have less scarcity and feel less pain from times of lower number of sales, so they don't need to raise prices as high. Back in the day people disliked big business for this reason, because small business couldn't compete and wouldn't survive. The small stores owned by people in the community died out to the likes of Wal-Mart. Now people throw a fit because they don't want to pay a couple extra bucks for something they can't even find. Again, go take a fucking economics class.

metal prices have never gone up EVAR Think about this. How many ammo manufacturers are there than can produce in any real capacity? There's Lake City, Winchester, Federal, Blazer, Remington, PMC. Not much else that's USA made, and foreign made stuff is inconsistent in availability. So that's less than 10 companies spitting out ammo for every police department, every federal agency that's buying millions of rounds, and every Joe that wants to pick up a couple thousand rounds before the next guy does. This on top of rising raw material prices and those companies only having so much equipment to crank out ammo. They won't go out buying more presses or hiring more people because in 6 months or a year demand will be in the toilet and they would have overextended themselves. Supply and demand. Go take an economics class and STFU.

Wow. How far away are you taking those pics?
-
Cars have about doubled in price in the past ten years yet nobody bitches about that.
-
Anything else off topic or criticizing the thread starter gets a thread ban and infraction. If you don't have anything helpful to post, don't post.

Thanks everyone! Yes indeed, long ass time

Airtran is great for flying from here to most parts of Florida, not sure what else I'd use them for. I expect Southwest to ruin them. I've never flown Southwest before but my hopes are getting lower and lower for my flight home. The only upside is its an early morning saturday flight so I'm not expecting too much of a crowd. I'm kicking myself for not looking harder into the Delta flights, I think I would have scored tickets with them for the same price. I've never been out of the country except for a short detour into Windsor - eventually I'd like to take some trips out of the country. Caribbean for sure, and I'd like to go to Germany to visit a friend from high school that moved there. Maybe Australia for New Years one year. Not sure where else. But I've got plenty of time to get there.

I've got a trip lined up for June and I've been meaning to add up my total savings. I'm going to be staying for a week. Flying into St. Augustine and staying two days. I got the Airtran card to get I think 32 credits. The tickets for the gf and myself would have been $288 + fees. The card has a $69 yearly fee so I saved $219 there, and should have certificates to get business class seats. If the cert doesn't show up I'll probably pay for it out of pocket to upgrade. We'll be staying two nights in a Country Inn and Suites. I did a promo with them last year, stay in three different hotels and get 148,000 points for doing it. I forget what those hotels cost but they weren't bad and the gf and I had a couple nice weekends away to get the points. Either way, the two nights in St. Augustine would cost me $220. I'm burning 56,000 points instead. From there, driving to Destin and staying at the Sandestin Hilton Resort for four nights. This would have cost $1316 for the room, plus resort fee, plus parking, plus meals, plus internet. I got the Amex Hilton Surpass for Gold status, so that gives me free breakfast and internet which is a savings of about $35-$40 a day. So that quickly pays for the $75 fee. I'm burning 145,000 points for the four nights, which I got from two Citi Hilton cards and an Amex no fee Hilton card. Then we're staying in another Country Inn and Suites in Panama City Beach for one night. Normal price is $169, we're burning 28,000 points. Flight back is on Southwest, paying normal price of $515 with fees, no savings. I don't remember the exact numbers for the rental car, but we are getting an intermediate SUV through Budget. Normal price would have been over $500, found a code on flyertalk.com that knocked it about half off so around $250 for the week. Not bad. So total out of pocket $$$ is roughly $875, plus whatever the resort fees are since I have no idea. Not including the Country Inn savings since I don't really know how to count that, the money I've saved is about $1900. If I include the Country Inn prices, its more like $2300. Not bad for a beginner.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northwest_Florida_Beaches_International_Airport Panama City Beach airport is ECP. All that flies in or out is Delta or Southwest, those are your only options. I got tickets on Southwest for like $250 each one way, wasn't the best price and since then I've seen Delta priced the same. Often just booking through their website is the same price or better than those travel sites, and you generally don't earn points through third party sites and have a harder time changing tickets if you need to. Just compare those two airlines, and if the prices are about the same go with Delta. PS: I'll be there in June. Staying at the Sandestin Hilton resort. I can't wait.
