i keep a turd on deck so that if an intruder breaks in i can throw fecal matter at them. clean up is easy since they would have caught me in the shower.

I have a snub nose behind the dry wall under every light switch in my house. Just a quick punch thru the wall and grab the revolver off it's stud attachment. My shower cap also has a deringer in it so I'm always prepared and it's always dry. I'm working on hiding firearms throughout my family/friends' houses but it's taking quite a while since they don't exactly know.

What do you guys do for security when you're home alone and in the shower? I don't live in Mogadishu or anything, but I like to have a gun around all the time, and when I'm in the shower I feel like I'm even further behind the curve if something happens, especially if I've got soap all over my hands or something. I've got 2 dogs that like to bark, so an intruder would be welcomed by a bunch of barking, but the dogs bark at people/dogs/cats/cars/etc... outside so it's not as simple as grabbing a gun any time I hear a peep out of the dogs. Generally I just put my Glock onto the top of the toilet since it's right next to the shower, figuring that it's probably the most practical solution, and counting on grabbing it only if there's an inordinate amount of barking. Do any of you guys have any HD preparations, or simple precautions you take when you're in the shower?

And I have the right to not give those places any of my money. Amazing that nobody was able to come to that conclusion in three pages of horseshit.

Great input. Thanks for being able to talk about your personal experience Brandon. It is hard to take that step but for many, its the only possible option and once you are through it is possible to turn things around for the better. Keep at it. Also, I added a graphic to the original post.
