  1. Techno-speak. You wouldn't understand
  2. It's a truck, get all terrain tires. BFGs are by far the best, but pricey. I had Nittos I think on the Jeep, pretty good and way cheaper. General Grabbers are alright, the set on my truck were installed in the late 90's and still going strong.

    Note 4

I wouldn't recommend using any apps that force close apps in an attempt to save battery. This cancause weird issues. Just use it how it is, if you have battery drain issue go into settings and see what is draining you, then work on a solution. The note line of phones have gigantic batteries so this shouldn't be an issue anyway.
  4. oh, and if we're going to keep this going, please edit your post asking for an invite once you have one saying as much.
  5. Not saying I do, but it's an option. I like options.
  6. It works for ccw in the car
  7. I've built a couple 10.5" guns, no issues. It's when you drop down to the pistol length gas systems, normally found on 7.5" barrels that you end up with problems. Sig brace is pretty nice, but for the price of the brace and a KAK buffer tube made to work with the brace, you may as well just pay for the SBR stamp. Shorty ARs are quite fun. If you are sticking with 5.56/.223 you are doing yourself a favor by skipping the 7.5" barrel and going with a good 10.5". ALG free float tubes are very reasonably priced. Bare uppers and lowers are at their cheapest ever. Get whatever LPK, it doesn't matter all that much. For a cheap trigger get an ALG ACT, if you want a good trigger get whatever Geissele trigger looks right for you. If you want the Sig brace then do yourself a favor and just buy this package if you want black, or this package if you want FDE. Toss in a bolt carrier group (BCM if you can swing it) and grip of choice and you are done. If you want more specific answers for individual parts I can help. If you want one built for you send me a PM.

    CRKT knives

The Leek for sure, I didn't know the Blur was that well liked as well. I love my Blur, will have more in the future.

    CRKT knives

I've noticed that Leeks are positively loved by their owners. I've never handled one though. Edit - I'm a sucker for Damascus steel

Hell, if you want to stick with the $20 price point get this

    CRKT knives

This is the CRKT that I have. I wouldn't recommend it. Kershaw Guy has great deals on Kershaw blems Right now they don't have much in stock. I have a Tanto Blur blem, couldn't find anything wrong with it at all. Terrific value, and its my carry knife when I'm not going to work. The Blur's are spring assist (NOT automatic). Seems like a very high quality blade, especially at blem pricing. My daily carry for work is a Vapor III but it looks like those have been discontinued. Honestly, my suggestion would be if you want a serrated blade buy this blur and if you don't want a serrated blade buy this blur. It's not much more money than that CRKT and a much better knife.

    CRKT knives

I have one, I think it's the previous model to that one. Screws keep falling out of it. I have two Kershaws that I go between for daily carry, they have been perfect. I'll get links when I'm on my computer instead of tablet but one is the same price and the other is about $40, so still very reasonably priced.
  14. The B option gives him the flexibility to move wherever he wants, as it is a totally online job, which he outlined in the original post. This is part of his trying to decide which option to take.
  15. So there is no option to move somewhere because you want to?
  16. This exactly. Nothing to worry about
  17. The nfa specifies that trusts can own them. It would take an act of congress to change that, the atf can't pull their normal tricks to stop that.
  18. This is huge. The ATF generally shies away from making hard determinations on anything so they can enforce pretty much whatever they want, but recently they painted themselves into a corner. The 1934 National Firearms Act (NFA) laid out all the different entities that are allowed to own firearms, such as individuals, corporations, and most importantly to this case trusts. The 1986 machinegun ban says everything the NFA includes, with the exception of trusts, cannot possess post-1986 machineguns without being on the special list. It''s always been assumed that trusts really aren't any different from "persons". Recently, in regards to background checks the ATF has determined that trusts are not "persons". Therefore, the wording of the 1986 machinegun ban does not prevent trusts from possessing or making new machineguns. Once this realization came about, people starting filing form 1's to build new machineguns as trusts. For a while, these stamps were being approved :fuckyeah: It's not known how many were approved, but it's been confirmed that there have been machineguns legally built on these stamps. Someone at the ATF decided this was a bad idea, and now they aren't approving these form 1 requests. So now, there is a pro-2a lawyer that has filed 3 lawsuits in different states. His goal is to shatter the entire machinegun ban through the courts. I think you can all figure out just how massive and important this is to clawing back our rights, and laying the groundwork to saving them for years to come. Without a massive change in the makeup of our federal legislature, there will be no laws any time soon made in regards to this whatsoever. So whatever the courts decide is what we'll have for the foreseeable future. AR15.com has a massive thread on this, and has all the info updated in the original post. There is also info on donating the cause. If you are able, please do. At this point there is no real reason to submit your own form 1 unless you would like to be a part of a possible class action suit in the future if this doesn't pan out. It will be auto-rejected within 3 days. http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_1_5/1624460_.html Feel free to copy-paste this to any other gun forums you are on. The more people that know about this, the better. News article on it here
  19. When I get some time I'm planning on looking a little deeper into the local races. I'd like to vote for some big L Libertarian candidates, but only if I'm comfortable with what the outcome will be of not supporting the more safe candidates.
