the gf has a cavalier that her father pushed her into, its an 02 or 04 I forget, either way its the last body style before it turned into the cobalt. It grenaded the motor around 50-60,000 miles due to the timing chain going out, turns out that's a common problem and its of course an interference engine. Now its upper 70,000 range and the dash gauges don't work at all, again common problem, the rear brakes are making noise, its had a couple alternators, randomly won't crank, randomly dies on her and won't start back up until its sat for a while, randomly just cranks and won't fire, etc. As soon as we're in a better financial situation that thing is gone and neither of us will be in another GM any time soon.
