  1. your right but we already know the fuel pump isn't priming thats the issue
  2. It has two relays one is a tip over switch second is the fuel pump both in the tail. You can take the relay off the headlights left front fairing and exchange them. You should hear the fuel pump charge when the key is on. They have issues with the relays. second thing is to check the wires that go to the fuel pump. They have been known to pinch between the tank and the frame. I wouldn't bother with starter fluid. If the pump isn't priming its not going to start. They will run even with shit gas. lol

  4. Brian are you still interested?
  5. Just remember the 00-01 rims are different from the 02 and later. The 02 and later are lighter. They all will work on any year RC
  6. I think it comes down to what feels best in your hand. That being said I love my Beretta PX4 storm. I do know my next handgun will not be polymer...
  7. I have to agree with Brian. I used to go on 400+ mile rides on the weekend doing stupid things. After getting on the track my road riding actually slowed down. I didn't need to turn it up or act like a fool. Slowly it started to be more of a hassle to ride on the road. I found it easier to jump in my truck listen to the music and maybe drink my coffee... I hated the fact that I needed to find a place to park the bike without the worry that it was going to get pushed over or taken. I also had to worry about my gear and if I was bringing anything where to put it. The funny thing was I had seven bikes to ride and the bike that got the most use was my scooter. It was so much easier to jump on that thing and go than pulling out one of my other bikes. Don't get me wrong I still love riding my bikes but the track (Dirt or pavement) seemed to pacify my urges to ride on the street.
  8. I can tell you a few things to make the motor a little better. Its a fun bike for sure
  9. I wouldn't risk putting any bike on a HF lift. Spend the extra money for something of quality like a Handy lift. Its just cheap insurance.

  13. Make sure you top the tank with fuel and Sta-bil, sea-foam or any other stabilize but make sure that the stabilizer is run through the motor. Clean the bike. I usually coat the bike with wax and or wd-40 to prevent surface rust. Remember most bike are shipped with cosmoline. Don't cover the bike with anything that will hold moisture. Cover all holes to prevent animal homes. I have heard some people use a bar of soap to prevent rodents from coming into their classic cars. I'm not sure about that. Finally make sure its secure so that it won't fall over. Stands are the best but I have had a bike fall off its kickstand because the tire went flat. Not what you want to see after a long winter is your bike on its side.
