  4. 24" iMac, 2.93GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4GB RAM, 1TB HDD OS X Snow leopard, MobileMe, Elgoto Eye Tv(very cool) 16G Ipod touch 32G 3Gs I-Phone Totally on the Apple bandwagon
  5. I don't know why I got dragged into this? I'm on the "band wagon" for any track I can get to. I took days off from work and signed up for BG multiple times to find out it was postponed which sucked. Yeah sucked for everyone involved. So now I'm very leery about what people say when its going to open. I'm to the point I will wait until after its opens to plan a trip down south. I think it has potential to be a great facility and can't wait to ride it. I just don't think it will be this year. As far as cold and wet I think any track sucks in those conditions no matter what kind of surface it has. If its wet I don't even open the trailer.
  6. rusty man if it wasn't for bad luck you wouldn't have any luck at all Are you going today?
  7. Great day hope tomorrow will be the same. The place was very crowded and still ran very smooth.
  8. Yeah!!! and it looks like it will be nice. Thank god for Mize Mobile for going the extra mile to get me the right tires in time. I was getting a little worried but the brown truck delivered Ha!. Also Stickboy for helping me with my questions. Now I just need to swap and balance, Thank god for my nomar:D
  9. What kind are you looking for? I might have a set or two of Bridgestone slicks
  10. I have built a few with a skid steer. Makes it easy to build the jumps. It will be a little trial and error. Just make sure that when making the track you allow drainage so it wont become a swamp.
  11. Rusty I will see you there. I just signed up for both days.
  12. One of a few days left at Mid-Ohio. Anyone going? I'm planning on the 20th but might do both days.
  13. Bkizz can you tell me how high up the injury is? Also if you want to get back on the bike...you will just look at Doug Henry, David Bailey, Etc etc. I even know a member from my Rogue group who had special outriggers installed on his RC51 to hold his bike up when he came into the pits. He was damn fast too. Just keep positive and do all the rehab you can. Ask about muscle stimulator to keep the muscles moving.
  14. Bkizz I can actually say I know what your feeling or not feeling at this time. I shattered Cervical #7 and now have 6 and 7 fused together. I couldn't move or feel anything from the nipple line down and only had gross movement of only my right hand. Just enough to trigger a paddle which was my call light. I didn't severe my spine but I have what is called central cord syndrome. So your first post was a little vague did you break your back/neck and the spinal cord was not severed? If so that is a good sign. Have the doctors talked to you about something called spinal shock? If you need any questions answered I can possibly help you out. I spent close to two weeks in the ICU and over 4 month in rehab but I'm back on the bike and riding ok for a cripple. Biggest thing is to keep your spirits up and remember your mind will tell your body how to go.
  15. I did see some of the usual suspects. Also Steve Bidlack, Brett Roubineck and I can't remember the other Mid-Ohio person ran more of the show. The guy from Apex2apex did do the riders meeting and ran control. Not much excitement as far as crashes or bad riders the night went very smooth.
  16. Mid-Ohio report. The weather was perfect! The track was a little slick in the usual spots but after the first couple sessions that went away. For me the only problem area was the right hand turn entering thunder valley. The bike would get unsettled after the apex just over the hill. (Something had to be on the track) Mid-Ohio did a great job the night went very smooth.
  17. I hope its a little dryer than last trip to the track. Looks like we might luck out and keep dry (fingers crossed)
  18. Yeah I wonder that also might give the bike some added top end
  19. Well looks like the story today is a lot of BNG

  22. Good price do they include a case of oil to go with it?
  23. One thing I notice with the video is that I didn't hear things like your knee slider in any of the other turns. I did hear something grinding before the big grind. My thought is that the bike was leaned over too much and just lost grip with your tires. Meaning just before the loss of the bike you might have been grinding rear sets or plastic. I did hear the bike go to a neutral throttle but I can't tell if you added some brake to the mix. Finally I wonder if you actually lost the rear first and only slightly before the front. Listen to the grind before the final slide its like you can hear the bike slide catch slide and loss. Glad to hear your ok thats what really counts and besides its almost the end of the year good excuse to spend a shit load of money on the bike over the winter. Don't ask me how I know LOL
  24. Damn...looks like a vrod glad to hear he is ok
