My bad, I guess you only have to wait if you want to claim the meat. Probably would've been ticketed for failure to maintain assured clear distance from a field lol!

Aside from manually jumping a tooth on the chain, are there other ways to electronically adjust the timing on my 97 S10 from the dash (2.2L RWD if it helps)?
-
Epilogue - I saw my truck in the light today - managed to get the front left corner of my 97 S10 and flipped back putting good sized dents on my door and mashed in my bed right in front of the wheel. Dangit where's the cop when you need him??
-
That was moving.
-
It just clipped my front corner, turn signal mounts are broken, probably not much more, so I'll keep my claims down for now. Worst part was sitting there thinking, I'd be home by now if it weren't for this.

I locked the brakes up fiercely trying to avoid the deer, did minor damage to driver side front. Waited an hour after one witness said he'd go to a friend who's a patrolman (15 minutes later another gentleman stopped and offered to call the staties), finally left cuz I got places to go. Meat was bad - I hit it in the neck/front/head, a van ran over the hinder portion before I could drag it to the side. RIP bambi.

I'm sure a simple capacitor or simple circuit could do the trick - I'd like to know how to hold the waste spark charge and release both the waste spark and ignition spark charge all at once.

I have a friend selling a wheel that fits the above models. He tells me its straight and painted in like new condition. He's asking $150

Anyone interested in buying a pair of oem wheels for quick tire change from Ducati 748/916 models?
Minor nicks and scratches on rear, front is nice with rotors. Perfectly straight wheels. I bought these as a pair as seller wouldn't separate them. Front comes with nice straight rotors. Rear is not a 17" x 6" or I'd have had a nice match for the front on my busa's single sided rear.

You want to check availability when ordering, I pm'd you with a list of 12 originally, had to pare it down to 4 after most were out of stock and discontinued.

I can't believe its so hard to find out how many 1000s of volts the oem coil is rated. Can't find the number on the web anywhere. Driving me nuts, I had a friend @ a franchise dealer look @ the service manual...all it said was minimum 100 volts. Who's the genius that can help with this question on the board?

Dang, I just posted same info in 2 other threads, I'll probably get moderated for bending rules tryin ta help

Anybody missing an 07 CBR 600RR???

An 07 red w/black 600RR was picked up today and is going to the city impound lot right now. License plate 61NEW. It has a tank protector that says CB SuperFour (or something like that). It was found near Parson and Thurman.
From the sounds of it, the bike is fine. No damage. A cop saw a guy riding it with no helmet and no glasses. The cop passed him, and yelled out "you need some glasses man". As the guy passed, he pulled over, got off the bike, and walked away. The cop turned around, ran the plate, and found it was stolen.
So, if you're missing an 07 CBR 600RR, red and black, I'd be getting ahold of the city impound lot.

Honestly, with Ebay out there and forums like WERA has, getting parts that I need is really cheaper than what I have priced with you guys. I understand the whole worth a higher price as I stated in my posts prior. However, being off by over 2x as what Ebay charges isn't what I'd call worth it.
I'll say this - if Magnifest says you all will negotiate and talk over price, that's good enough for me to try again.
Do this. Get me a price on the following:
07-08 GSXR1000
-Subframe complete.
-Radiator
-Tank with front cover - no dents.
-Set of wheels.
What I will do is if you are higher, show you where I found them cheaper. It will hopefully help you understand where a lot of these guys source those types of things. Now, again... Ebay is a sketchy place for wheels. Everything else? Pie.
We are currently out of these parts, sorry.

So... how 'bout that list of parts and I can compare prices??
We're updating our website to have the current prices and parts avialability, the current list is in beta and some parts are NLA, some are not yet shown. http://www.800390bike.com/parts.asp
You did chime in on a list of specials we ran couple weeks ago.

What if we all rode 2 up on our bikes to capital hill with hats in hand asking for some bail out money to buy this unit that will only go up in value? LOL!

Thanks for the suggestion

HD's are pretty much the Model T, minor mods over the years but not much else, heck most HD riders consider the V-rod as a concept bike (best HD ever made in my opinion). That being said, I judge nobody by their group, but consider people by their merits. Those clowns, were clowns. Not all HD riders are jerks, not all sportbike riders have skills (that's a good portion of what keeps my shop in business).
This summer when I was riding back home on the turbo busa, some Grand parents on an Electra Glide thought it would be fun to pass me crossing double yellow line, up hill, going into a corner (brave, and stupid) when the speed limit was 35 mph not even moved up to 55 @ that point on 521 outside of Kilbourne. Since he thought rolling drag racing would be fun, I waited just past the nest S-curve, rolled the throttle, let off in front of the bridge nearly 200mph and they were no longer specks in the mirror.
That being said, I've also out-cornered some riders on smaller sportbikes who didn't know Busas could handle that well. Its more about skill than anything, I guess I've learned a couple.

I'd like to get a better match to the front wheel in the rear - 3 spoke Ducati, triumph, or whateve 6" x 17" with a 4 x 100 bolt pattern, anyone have one lying around to sell?

I started a thread about this before lots of messages got wiped - GEET device - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d5YsK3bwzPM. I built one, installed it on a little 70cc pitbike and had it self-sustaining for 1 hour on the following fuel mix - 50% water, 15% Gasoline, 10% fresh 10w4, 20% Isopropyl Rubbing alcohol, 5% hydrogen peroxide. Its said it can run as much as 80% water 20% fuel source that could be any type of gas/oil to paint thinner, alcohol, ketchup, tabasco sauce. I'll try some mountain dew just for fun. I had to use gasoline as a primer fuel - once the device heats up it becomes self sustaining.

I bought a mini camera and 6" LCD screen to do a live vid out the rear so I can all but pitch the mirrors. Would you tap the electric directly from the battery or where?

I've got iridiums for the turbo busa, I was thinking the pulse plug spark for the mad-scientist experiments
