  1. So get a few of the boys naked too, I'm not shy.... Fair is fair, right? I like girls that like girls.... Me either, that's why I only go to the ones my friends work at so I don't pay... hehehe Strippers are nasty anyway, only fuck the bartenders and make friends with the bouncers.... Brian may have the best idea here... Whatever it takes to bribe him into firing up the grill and not calling the cops plus BYOB.... Sounds like a good time to me!! Oh, and you can't SELL beer.... but you can charge money to be on the premises and have beer available.... Or give a free six-pack with each $8 hot dog you sell.... I like breaking laws and all, but I have found that there is usually a way AROUND them too... hehehe No one on a bike should be tanked anyway, so it's not like we need Budweiser to sponsor us or anything. Some half burned meat and a few frosty tops with conversation would be all I'm looking for.
  2. NECESSARY?? No. Nice? Hell yes. In some areas of Ohio 4WD IS VERY necessary if you want to leave the house when it snows good or with freezing rain. I can take you to several places that you will NOT leave after a good snow unless you not only have a capable 4x4 vehicle, but know how to use it as well.... In fact, I can take you places your Honda might not make it even in summer, and I don't mean forest quad paths either. 4WD/AWD>FWD>RWD>2wheels on ice/snow/mud (reduced traction of any kind) This is not a debatable subject, just simple fact. Anyone who wishes to argue is a silly city boy/girl with inadequate experience. Now, on DRY pavement... 2wheels>RWD>AWD>FWD This equation is more debatable, but only with personal preference on driving style, in which I will allow AWD>RWD if you are doing rally/drifty shit....
  3. Shit.... I just told my Dad I would go to KY with him to buy a horse this weekend.... Damn it. Leaving Friday eve and coming back, possibly with a new horse, on Sat eve. Unlikely I will get to swing by. (I AM going to make him bring the big trailer so I can pack my bike into the other stall.... No way I am going to KY without taking a moment to hit some twisty mountain roads... Meat horse on one side, Iron horse on the other.) If I get home at a reasonable time I will motor out, but unfortunately I would not count on it.
  4. This explains why I don't know who this is, modern country music sucks out loud... Cute though!! This is a valid question.... Please respond, and be sure to make up a nice, convincing lie if you must. Weirdo....
  5. NOTHING!!! I got laid off recently.... Prior to being an unemployed drunk, I was an Electrical Engineering Tech. Worked for a local contract electronics manufacturing and design company. We made stuff for a lot of companies you would recognize, but you wouldn't know we made their shit.... (Seimens Airfield Solutions, Atromick, Mettler Toledo, OSU, etc) I have manufacturing, fabrication, test fixture/procedure development, component level troubleshooting (schematics & O-scope shit), and specialty electronic engineering modification and PCB rework experience covering everything from simple through-hole components to the newest BGA packages. If you want it done to a PCB, but don't think it is possible, I can do it anyway and still make it look like it was designed that way to begin with... If anyone needs a well rounded geek that can use everything from a knee mill and welder to a soldering iron and a Gen-Rad I am for hire. I can pull a truck engine or your 144 pin 14mil QFP and put either back in and they will still work.... I also have LE and Military experience.... Don't much like working security (why I went back to school) but if anyone needs a skull cracker I could use some side work in the meantime if it pays better than unemployment... No sitting posts though, gotta have some action or I get mischevious myself.
  6. This is either the greatest job ever, or the worst.... Funny as hell either way though!! I say he made out pretty well, if you ask me... Got to nail the hell out of the hot neighbor, found out his old lady was a cheating whore (this is good in my book because she was a whore anyway, but at least now he isn't in the dark about it...) and if the courts aren't as fucked up as they are here he should be able to loose that bitch AND avoid child support for her little broken condoms...
  7. Oh, stop... It hurts!! I'm laughing so hard that I seem to have sprung a leak on my face... Nothing like a good Douchbag thread to start the day... Those are the freshest examples of Douchbaggery that I have seen since, well, Friday night at the bar... LOL
  8. If you have mowed the lawn in shorts and tee shirt in Dec/Jan and shoveled snow in July, AND you happen to live in the Northern Hemisphere of the Earth, then there is only one place you could be..... Ohio. Welcome to the holy grail of meteorology... Nothing like having a 150ºF temp swing throughout the year.
  9. I see you bought the brainwashing, eh comrade? Vista still blows, the problem is inherent in how the OS works.... Vista must run all 32 bit applications in 64 bit, it can't run 32 bit in 32 bits. (confused yet?) Since almost EVERY program you use is still 32 bit, that means XP is faster unless you are running 64 bit applications such as AutoCad or some other industrial programs. (and a few newer high-end games that won't likely run on the video card of your laptop anyway...) Or if you really MUST use more than 3GB of RAM. (3.5 but XP only recognizes 3.... blah blah blah) As for 7, well, they CLAIMED it would run faster than XP because of technical voodoo that I can't spout off the top of my head regarding how it executes a 32 bit program. You can look up the details, but the important part is that it still benchmarks slower, all other things being equal, on 32 bit apps. It is only repackaged Vista, a desperate move by Microsatan to dodge all the bad press about their shitty ass OS that was originally supposed to be released 9 years ago as Longhorn, but wasn't because it was too fucked up... Vista licks donkey balls, I feel bad for the poor bastards that need to use it. I'm sticking with XP until Windows properly un-fucks their OS... which is probably never, unfortuntely. More likely I will just hold out until more apps are Linux friendly and delete the microsoft virus for good.... I have friends that won't even let Windows products run native on their machines. When they need to run a Microsoft app or prog that won't run in Linux or Mac, they only allow it to run on emulated virtual machines through VMware running in Linux or OSX.... Kinda like they way you would handle the Ebola virus through a glove box wilst wearing a hazmat suit....
  10. Ubuntu Satanic Edition for the win... I have a triple install, one Linux Ubuntu SE, one full XP Pro and a stripped and cracked version with the kernel running in RAM for... eh, fucking around... (not including virtual machines or network machines.... heheheh) Blake, I have what you need. Every version of Windows ever except Vista and multiple keys for each. (I had the new Win 7 Beta a month before it was released.....) I can strip your old Win Key and use it if you have a legal install running somewhere, or use a pirated key if you don't have a valid one. Slipstream SP3 right in and use an unattended install.... One disk, two clicks, and 30 windows minutes later you have a full install ready to go. Call me when you get a chance and I will prep one for you tailored to your particular needs. I already have several custom slipstream images prepared, I can probably just swap a key out and toss you one of those.
  11. Tools are part of the fun, call it a spectator sport and just watch from behind your beer.... If you are serious about this, I have an "in" for that one in particular... I know some of the staff and I could make a few inquiries... All else aside, I say a strong "Hell Fuck Yes" to an OR bike night. Even if it is just a monthly rather than weekly meeting. It would be great fun and a very good way to help all the forum monkeys to get to know each other's faces and bikes. Dyno days and Hocking rides are grand and I have gotten to put faces to names that way a bit, but a semi-regular gathering would be even better socializing amongst ourselves. Besides, I suck with names and it takes me a while to soak up so damn many of them.... Never forget a face, but I would forget my own damn name if mommy didn't stencil it on the waistband of my undies... (hell, bought a new pack once and thought my name was Hanes for like three weeks!!)
  12. Stop installing security bits on your idle screws....
  13. It's "Welcome to Ohio, if you don't like the weather, wait 15 minutes and it will change...." +1 Ride all year, it will make a real man out of ya... Put some chest on your hair, boy!! Just cause I hate weather under 80º or so won't keep me off the bike. (I was out all last night riding in the cold dark and hit a new bar... they want to do a poker run soon and now it will get posted here too!!) Yep, that's good old fashion birth control right there.... either that or it keeps the DNA fresh, I'm not actually sure on this one... You know, that hurts less if you do it regularly instead of just "in season". Plus, I'm sure your boyfriend likes it smooth in the winter also...

    Saturday Ride?

Exactly!! Hope to see you there!
  15. 13 is a pretty decent ride, and the Mill is a must stop kind of place. I'm from the Centerburg area and I go riding up there with my sister during the summer, so hit me up if you get ambitious on a nice day. That's my old stomping grounds and the fam still lives up there.
  16. Depends on what condition I am in. And where I sleep Friday night, Dublin or Obetz. If I am alive and in Obetz I may ride in with you guys. If I am alive and in Dublin I may ride with the Tuttle group and still see you all there.
  17. Hell, right up the street from me... I don't need to hit the dyno day really, but I won't usually pass up a group ride with the boardies... I will try to make it over there for the ride down, even if I don't stick around for much of the dyno fun. (Even at 20 bucks, it's a waste of time and money to dyno a Virago.... or my Suzuki at this point... )
  18. Old school and effective, cleans and protects leather. Might still want to use a protective coating afterward though. Mink oil is good stuff, use it on my boots when I buy a new pair. Also you might try any one of a number of cleaners and protective coatings on the market, some of the newer synthetic products work as well as the old saddle soap and mink oil, but don't smell funny or get as greasy on your hands. I don't wear a leather coat, but I wear leather boots and grew up on a farm with lots of leather horse tack and I still like saddle soap and mink oil myself.
  19. Ouch.... I pay 140 or 150 a year I think for TWO motorcycles.....
  20. I don't know, but I consider it a consolation prize for my company fucking me over... LOL It's not a layoff for me, it's vacation, bitches!!
  21. Welcome!!! I live in Dublin too, and ride at all hours.
  22. Yeah, kind of a bullshit mistake, but at least they didn't give you a hard time fixing it. I will remember to be extra assertive with newbs there.... +1 Sounds like fun!! Need to blow some more money on motorcycle shit anyway!
  23. Hehehehe... he won't be there, sold his bike!! Full time cager now....
  24. Never mind the rampant civil rights violations I could rant about, I just want to take a page from the Cop's own book for this one. The bastards are busting this dude's balls over exposing their own corruption and incompetence, right? Soooo..... "If you aren't guilty, you have nothing to hide...." Why is any police department pissed off by civilian monitoring and criticism?? Because they don't like to play by their own rules and it ruins their fun to have the public find out how they just pull evidence out of their collective ass and let their friends and family run rampant because of "professional courtesy"
