  7. Spending a lot of ear time on trance and progressive house find 320kbps pod casts (they run about 60 minutes each - 200+ Mb): Trance Nation (Scandinavian broadcast - Hamburg, Germany) (DJ John De La Mora mostly) Trance Wars (Chicago broadcast - Munich Germany) (DJ Armin van Buuren mostly) State of Trance - (DJ Armin van Buuren) edit: Trance Wars is the broadcast/podcast from Chicago, of the Armin van Buuren State of Trance mixes so far I think there are 25+ available... (more like over a hundred, but dunno where...)
  8. Starters are expensive. I generally keep the starter, clean and condition the commutator, install new brushes purchased separately, and use it again. Carefully... Where possible... Parts stores would rather have you buy a starter, so finding starter brushes can be difficult at times.

  13. Wake up and ride out to Hooters in Hilliard...

  14. It's not like a car. Aircraft are seriously inspected and maintained. If it was not flight worthy, it would not be flying. Besides, it has THREE engines, heh...
  15. Anyone want to hit Hooter's Hillard tonight? Or Hooter's East. Don't care. It's Bike Night at both places tonight.
  16. Know what... I think I'll get out the red '07 tonight, and ride it. Gotz a new Givi screen, maybe install that first.

  19. hahah, I hate in now that I know it's 121k but it's a little armored tank at almost 3200 pounds! If it were sharp on the front end, it would slice right through anything up to a dumptruck...

  21. Just an extreme example of form follows function... edit: And the $121,000 price tag brings this discussion to an end...
  22. Tango Commuter Car The world's fastest urban car... Don't care what you say, this thing is radical cool. Electric, but can haul a little trailer with a fuel powered generator on it. Narrower than some motorcycles, it can lane split! It can park sideways in a parallel parking spot. 12 second quarter mile @ 100mph 4 second 0-60 130 mph top speed check the slalom video for a view of it's stability (wider tires were used, I can see that) Video
  23. I really should dismantle a few modern bikes and see what I get for an modern opinion. I still base my opinions on what happened when the big four were introduced into the USA. Honda was reliable, with slightly less power as a result. Fit and finish was better than the others. Kawasaki was powerful. Nobody else could even come close. Chrome and paint wasn't as good. Yamaha was quietly building good motorcycles. Nothing too fancy or fast. Just good work. Suzuki was light weight bikes. Performance through weight reduction. A different set of tools was always needed for Suzukis. Every bolt on a Suzuki had a bolt head one wrench size smaller. So where all bikes used 10mm, 12mm, and 14mm, etc. Suzuki would use 9mm, 11mm, 13mm, etc. I always thought that was funny.
