  1. It says April 3rd http://www.quakersteakandlube.com/columbus_oh/
  2. If that's the fuel vent/overflow, yeah, a float might be stuck. Or a float needle might not be seating, and leaking. Same result, pretty much.
  3. Pick out the helmet now. It's your best friend. And welcome. edit: Iron Pony in Westerville
  4. That is funny. I don't think I've ever noticed much, I just reach for the offending item and tuck it in. There's always something flapping in the breeze. Those little pull strings can actually flap around and open the zipper and empty the pocket. I've seen that happen on backpacks. You fixated on that new helmet. Ha.
  5. If you ever wash any of your gear, you're not supposed to use detergents that have optical brighteners. Camouflage is not meant to be brighter and easier to see in visible, UV and IR. Even using once is permanent change. Laundry detergents that do not contain optical brighteners: Bold Powder Cheer Liquid (all versions) Cheer Powder (all versions) All Powder (all versions) Surf Powder (all versions) All Detergent Free Clear Country Save Liquid Detergent Allen’s Naturally Laundry Detergent (liquid and powder) Bi-O-Kleen Laundry Detergent (liquid and powder) Charlie’s Soap (liquid and powder) ECOS Free and Clear Laundry Detergent Mountain Green Liquid Laundry Detergent Nature Clean (liquid and powder) Ecover Ecological Liquid Detergent Oxy-Prime Powdered Laundry Detergent Planet Ultra laundry detergents Seventh Generation Laundry detergents SportwashSun and Earth LiquidSurf Powder (not Surf Liquid) Washeze Woolite, original and dark. edit: Don't forget that animals like deer and coyotes supposedly can see a bit in the IR range. Maybe UV also?
  6. Ok, that goes on my short list of incredible things found on a used motorcycle.

Although email or alert notifications are generally too late, last night I hit on a midwayusa 500 brick of Aguila Super Uber Hyper Maximum Ammunition 22 Long Rifle 30 Grain Hyper Velocity Plated Lead Hollow Point. $39.99 .08/rd I have never tried this stuff before. No idea what to expect. Supposedly the highest velocity available. The Aguila has been popping up everywhere this week, but as usual, most of it selling out in minutes. Be careful not to buy the subsonic or caps unless that's what you wanted. Some are primer fired only, and have no powder. edit: except for the high cost Natchez shipping, and the 10 buck Gander surcharge, I don't mind paying regular shipping. I figure it works out about the same as driving somewhere to try and find it. Or better. So far the best places are midway if you can catch it, and sportsmansguide backorders. Cabelas is ok, but usually limited to a small amount each person each day. Not interested in jacked up prices, these places are being reasonable.
  8. wait, let me think... Ok, no. No way. Not interested in that.
  9. Not sure what I took pictures of last year. I'll check the camera later. The peppers this year are just started, give it a bit to gain some green. Kinda silly, I grew ornamental peppers last year. All multi-color or black leaves, stuff like that. They were supposed to be edible and hot, but I lost interest in eating them.

Natchez put up Fiochi tin cans of 333 (limit 2), but I hesitated at 18 bucks shipping. Gone, too late... didn't need it at that price/shipping. edit: Really getting tired of this. Thinking stop and just wait till things settle down. No matter how long it takes. Or just go fishing instead. <insert image of Cajun shouting "choot! choot de fish!">
  11. My Jeeps don't seem to have much for problems. I did read an article comparing Jap crap to Jeeps, where it pointed out the cost of repair on a Japanese truck was rather higher. And more likely to be a high dollar item. Dunno. Those 4.7 and 5.7 Jeeps can be pretty fast. Near impossible to find one used. Maybe in another year or two. edit: 265k on the old Jeep... yeah, now it's falling apart.
  12. Maybe less water before harvest. Supposedly makes them hotter. Some of mine were not hot at all till dried out and then they were plenty hot. I wanted peppers, not powder. Definitely a late start, mine were seeded a couple of weeks ago and I thought that was a bit late. (Indoors under lights.) edit: I lost half the vincas, for not giving them a chance to adapt to a change... tsk. Still got enough. Can always buy flats.

And I found that one before it was posted in places on the internet. Truly frightening. I have learned to buy when seen. Even hesitating a few minutes and it will be gone. I hate this.

  15. I think it's a very grey area with no firm rulings. I think specific examples could probably be found that contradict each other. I've read that simple hobby stuff isn't necessarily enforced to the maximum rules that were intended for manufacturers. So, results will vary. I think.
  16. Sportsmansguide one day sale (March 26) for Buyer's Club Springfield Armory® XDM® 16 - rd. 9mm Magazine $35.99 PRIVATE SALE, NON-MEMBER: $39.99
  17. You can make all the lower receivers you want. But you can't sell, trade, transfer or will them to inheritors. edit: It is recommended that at some point put serial numbers on them for accountability.
  18. And I have the long fingers. Great for musical instruments, but not for gloves. I buy one size up, which is ok, since tight gloves on a bike won't work. Flexing hand into a fist on the grip long term needs a bit more room. You might not enjoy tight gloves.
  19. umm, greasy... best in a stew with veggies and gravy. Savory West Virginia Groundhog Stew

I was going to say that it completely bombed once for me before working. I had to start over from the beginning. I see they also had CCI 22LR RN bricks of 375 for about 22.99 today. http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/ammunition/rimfire-ammunition/22-long-rifle/ar-tactical-22lr-40gr.html But it also now says "temporarily out of stock". They will both be back. This place also had Winchester Wildcat bricks of 500 for 19.99, but was gone even faster. http://www.sportsmanswarehouse.com/sportsmans/Winchester-Wildcats-22-Long-Rifle/productDetail/Rimfire-Ammunition/prod999901358838/cat100113
