  1. Alright so last year my girlfriend and I decided to try a ride to hit up the 17 covered bridges of Ashtabula County.. Solo Run Today

Sounds like a pretty good ride. Welcome to the club of solo riding bro.. Youngstown seem to be a black hole for collaborative riding.. (ok or maybe its the fact that I've lived here for 6+ years and don't know really know anyone. Or the fact that you have to go an hour out to find any good riding) I have a weird schedule and tour more lately anyways (300+ milers when possible).. But I do still like to kill a few hours in BFE when I can. So in that respect it's more my fault to not being more active when there are meet and greets organized.. I just never find any organized locally. There always an hour or so away.. Throw in the hour work commute to and from home.. It's hard to ride on the fly. In other words, I can relate and I'm being a whiney bastard who just post whored your thread.
  3. I'm psyched to finally kill off my rear tire before replacing it tomorrow night..lol Then again I've been riding a lot on snowless days since early march.. It'll just be nice not to have to layer up... I'm looking forward to Friday so the girlfriend and I can take the fun way to Calcutta... Just because.
  4. Very cool! I didn't have the time or ingenuity for $20..$40...$100 worth of tools and fabrication or retail solutions before my Deals Gap trip last year.. So I resorted to the poor mans throttle lock.. Caterpillar o-ring.. $8.. When coupled with my cramp buster I get enough friction and it holds well enough.. It can slip a little but I prefer not having my hand off the throttle side for extended times so the slow slippage isn't really that big a deal for me.. This combo allows me to simple rest my hand on the bar and allow easy adjustments during slight elevation changes on the slab.. Yet it still allows for full throttle movement in braking situations.. Roll it between bar end and grip to lock in.. Roll it back onto the stock bar end groove to take it off.. Not as solid as an actual throttle lock solution but functional and no mod needed..
