SHIT! that's one hell of an upgrade from a Blast.. 3x the cylinders and what about 3000x the power...lol I'd definately go over it closely and really make sure it's a clean title and not a salvage. Neutral meeting spot and bringing in a friend helps.. It sounds like your prepared. Just don't get too much chub in case this ends up being a unicorn. Good luck, hope it pans out!

Just for clarification. there are some curves that if you maintain the legal speed limit thru the curve you can get good lean and not have to worry about park police. I meant it to be a meet and photo op not a time trial. Just a suggestion. Boardman bike nite Monday evening?

I vote we do a simple meet up at millcreek park.. get some shots near the steel bridge or the lake.. Maybe some action shots.. there's a couple curves that you can get good lean without the park police. with 1 spotter and a cameraman shouldn't have any issues with bicyclists or joggers.. Could be a fun way to kill an hour.

you know if we happen to find some good places for "action shots" not like we can't stop and have everyone make a couple passes real quick before moving on. Could always mount the gopro facing back on my bike and i could get some footage of everyone just work up and back thru the group so everyone gets some facetime.

And by wash my bike I mean let it sit outside and hope it rains between now and then... And by responsible riding techniques I mean not doing anything that could scuff up my duck tape and crushed pepsi can knee pucks. Or cause the ground to shake violently.

you should join us for the Ashtabula County Covered Bridge Tour this October. Not sure when it will be yet. I usually organize the ride but schedule's a little tighter this year.. but keep watch for it I'll probably post up in september. I try to do it within the first couple weeks of october right around when the leaves change.

I remember the days of being a night owl.. I'd be afraid that I wouldn't have my A game in the twisties without a good nights sleep these days.

Given the small potential for rain and the possibility of a faster paced rider as lead, I'm not sure I'm game. I'm not riding 100+ miles to get left in the dust on a technical road I"ve never ridden with people I have never ridden with that have a rep for highly spirited pace. Not fair to me to spend all day catching up and not fair to the group to have to wait for me to catch up. maybe if a route is more finalized and pace and style of the ride is ironed out I may be persuaded.

Me (Kevin) with this girl who kept eyeing me all night.. I took her back to the hotel.

It was great to be able to put some faces to names and always great to see some faces again.. The party was epic.. Coming down for breakfast at the Quality Inn and seeing the "morning after" was a great experience too.. Can't wait to see you all again.

Not sure who all is staying at the Quality Inn but if there is anyone interested in carpooling to the IX with us let me know.. We will probably check-in to the hotel around 3:30-4pm, head out to the IX till around 7 or so then head back to the hotel to get ready to head to Buddy's. kinda late in the day I know, but I have family obligations back home. just curious.. I've only got a little civic so 3 passengers in the back might be a little tight.. If anyone has a bigger vehicle I'd chip in for parking.
