  1. I've never owned a full face helmet because the ones I've tried on have fogged up in seconds. I used to wear a 3/4 helmet for winter riding, but have also had them fog up. With this winter looking to be pretty cold, I would like to try a full face again, but it has to be anti fog. So, please forward your opinions and experience with your full face helmets. Thanks.
  2. Personally I would wait until you have saved at least $800.00. $400.00 may get you a decent receiver. I use a Yamaha component system with a PS3 for the Blu Ray. I started off with a cheaper Yamaha system and was disappointed with the speakers. Over time I upgraded the speakers and eventually the receiver and sub-woofers. Good luck with your choice.
  3. Thanks to all that came out! You guys are the best! I'll post the fundraising total soon. Pictures will be posted on the HHCR website soon too.
  4. I'm on way to get things set up. The ride is still on! Weather will be clear by ride time. I'll update if things change. See ya there!
  5. The Weather Bug says Sunday expects to be: Partly sunny. Highs in the mid 70s. Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph. It's looking to be a good day for riding!

It is with great sorrow that we inform you of the passing of Zach Myers, a member of the U.S. Army serving in Iraq. Zach, the son of Tonya Latto, a member of the A.D. 10. Bumping this up again. We're still gathering items for the auction and the items will be posted on the Helping Hands website very soon. Our very own Cmoosego will be one of the items up for auction! If any other OhioRider has an item or service they would like to donate toward the auction please let me know. Thanks again for all the support this forum has given to this ride!

  12. A man was lying in bed with his new girlfriend. After having great sex, she spent the next hour just rubbing his testicles -- something she loved to do. As he was enjoying it, he turned and asked her, "Why do you love doing that?" Because, she replied, "I miss mine." Kinda brings a tear to your eye, doesn't it !?!?!?
  13. You know, you could've come straight to the source.
  14. The route is different this year and there are no scheduled stops. You can ride at your pace. Most riders should be able to be at the Winking Lizard by 3:00 pm. Be sure to gas up before leaving West Jefferson. There won't be any gas stations until you get to Mt. Sterling. Look forward to seeing you there!
  15. Just got home from watching this movie. IT KICKS ASS!!!! Just go see it!
  16. Congratulations! Daughters are the BEST! No reason to give the bikes up. Just enjoy them both, together.
  17. You are a generous man. Thanks for the support!

  18. I've never gone for the weekly breakfast, but the crowd may be mainly cruiser or HD riders. AD Farrow uses that same place every New Years Day for their Polar Bear Ride. They're breakfast is OK. I'd say Fitzy's, Best Restaurant, and Starliner Diner have the best breakfast in central Ohio. The Flying J just has more room for larger crowds.
  19. Last Summer on my Canada to Mexico trip I got a flat on my rear tire. I was in Indiana during all the heavy rains and flooding throughout the Midwest. All the Metric shops were closing or closed. HD dealers did not have the size tube or tire I needed. One dealer recommended "The Shop", a custom motorcycle shop in Terre Haute. Jack Pittman, the owner, stayed open until we got there, 4 hours later. We found a 1/4 inch broken bolt which had lodged in the tread of the tire and caused a fairly large hole in the tire and tube. Jack and his son made several calls to their contacts to get this repaired. finally, they had a friend who works at a truck repair stop and he said to bring the tire over. The guy who repaired the tire didn't charge for the repair because of all the help Jack did for him in the past. They could not find a 15" tube anywhere and Jack thought that a 16" tube should work. By the time we had it repaired and replaced it was 2:00 am. Jack charged me 1 hours worth of labor for all he did. He simply said, "I've never turned down a biker who needed help." I could not have thanked him enough for the kindness he showed and I told him that all I could do was to pass it along.
  20. Go a little farther north to the Ink Spot in Delaware. Ask for Celeste. Great lady, great artwork. You won't be disappointed. 51 Lake St Delaware, OH 43015 (740) 369-7126
  21. Happy Birthday! Enjoy it!
  22. No. If and when we do go to Church we attend St. Michaels in Worthington.

  23. Hope the Docs figure it out and he gets better soon. Take care and get some rest.
