  1. ... just goes to show you how many people would rather listen to someone tell them something and believe it than research it and find out for themselves. when all it takes these days is the time to google something.

You've never used Facebook then have you :p, that's all you find on there!

  2. $49/mo (+tax) unlimited everything thru Solavei (uses tmobile).

No contracts. No credit checks. 4GB of data @ 4G before any throttle,

then throttled back to 2G but still unlimited. I'm a fairly heavy data user and

have never even come close to hitting the 4GB mark. If you live in a

good tmobile coverage area the service is excellent. Company provides

service only, you need to buy your own gsm phone.

    PM me for more details.

  3. You don't stop for a funeral like that in Ohio .

People DO stop for funeral processions, or at least slow way down here around Central Ohio.

I never ran into that up in NE Ohio where I'm from originally, first time I came across one down

this way I damn had an accident like that truck!

I've always been taught to stop for funerals. Just like you stop for emergency vehicles.
Same and I know in the south (TN) they stop on both sides of the road.

Must be a regional thing :dunno:

  4. I think you might suffer from this common condition:

Stockholm syndrome, or capture–bonding, is a psychological phenomenon in which hostages express empathy and sympathy and have positive feelings toward their captors, sometimes to the point of defending them. These feelings are generally considered irrational in light of the danger or risk endured by the victims, who essentially mistake a lack of abuse from their captors for an act of kindness.[1][2] The FBI's Hostage Barricade Database System shows that roughly 27% of victims show evidence of Stockholm syndrome.[3]

Stockholm syndrome can be seen as a form of traumatic bonding, which does not necessarily require a hostage scenario, but which describes “strong emotional ties that develop between two persons where one person intermittently harasses, beats, threatens, abuses, or intimidates the other.”[4] One commonly used hypothesis to explain the effect of Stockholm syndrome is based on Freudian theory. It suggests that the bonding is the individual’s response to trauma in becoming a victim. Identifying with the aggressor is one way that the ego defends itself. When a victim believes the same values as the aggressor, they no longer become a threat

    LOL. Whatever, smh.

  5. I can understand both sides of the story. Personally, when I'm stopped I tell them I have CCW, and I'll tell them whether or not I'm carrying. If asked for an ID, I'll produce it, If I'm on the bike, the helmet comes off and the hands go where they can be seen, same if I'm in the car. I don't open carry now but I don't have a problem with those who do. If I did, I would not have a problem with the police asking for my ID. I don't feel my rights are infringed in any way by my behavior. Reading these posts, I may be wrong, but I've been stopped many times carrying and not carrying, in the car, on the bike. I've never been hassled, arrested, detained, held, searched, cuffed, relieved of my pistol, profiled, or questioned. I would think that if I did not provide my ID after being asked for it then I expect all the above would have happened to me.
Finally someone who see my side. thanks

Rep to both of you :)

  6. Once again you are willing to lay down at the will of the police simply because he has a gun, and allow them to violate your rights. To a lot of people that says your either a hypocrite or spineless.

And once again you just don't get it, so let me say it slowly and clearly for you....

    I D-O-N-T C-A-R-E I-F T-H-E-Y W-A-N-T T-O C-H-E-C-K M-Y F-U-C-K-I-N-G I-D.

So how about you quit calling me names, and quit running your mouth

about something that isn't going to change my mind anyway. :nono:

This is all a moot point because I don't open carry anyway, I didn't take

the CCW course to open carry

  7. ...Then that is you willing to allow your rights to be violated because of your own ignorance.

...if you want to be a good little sheep and allow him to violate your rights because you dont know your rights then that is on you.

I'm not ignorant, and I know my rights. I understand your point of view,

I simply don't care to debate my rights with an armed person that won't

hesitate to shoot me. You (and anybody else that wants to debate with

the officer) go right ahead. I'll be waiting in the car ;)

  8. Why would they have to ask you for it? The act of open carry isnt a reason to ask for ID of someone

If I'm open carrying a weapon, and they want to make sure I'm not a felon,

I don't care. If YOU want to debate the 2nd amendment with a trigger

happy LEO and run the risk of getting your ass thrown to the ground

and cuffed feel free to do so. I'll take the simple quick route, since I'm

not a felon, and I don't give a damn if they check my id.

Arguing with a LEO rarely goes well, no matter who is right.

You chose to do it your way. I choose to do it my way. It's as simple as that.

  9. Your not really serious are you? You think you should have to show identification for no reason at anytime?

Who gave him the right? Why would he ask in the first place? His asking alone tells you he has a personal adjenda.

No not ANY time for ANY reason. But if I'm open carrying my weapon

and a LEO asks for my ID I will gladly produce it. I have no problem with it.

  10. But he was within his rights and doing nothing illegal. Why should he have his right infringed on because he is in a bad neighborhood?

I'll never understand why people think being asked to show ID is

"having your rights infringed". These open carry situations that go

bad do so because people simply want to play games with the LEO's

and refuse to show ID. Just show the guy your damn id, he can make

sure you are not a felon and everybody can go about there business :nono:

...Those of you so willing to give up your rights that our

founding fathers and military all fought and still fight for, should be absolutely ashamed.

How is simply providing ID "giving up your right"??

  11. I wont use pirate bay, being an open tracker TWC usually sends me an email warning. I use a private tracker to get my downloads

I don't trust any of them torrent sites. Sorry, I'll pass, plenty of free porn on Redtube that you can watch without downloading a virus ;)

  12. Brandon does ride his own ride, not once have I seen him trying to keep up with others. Like he said this one looked like he locked on to the bike in front when he blew the line and touched the front brake. Not sure why we are making such a huge deal about this, Brandon is okay the bike is fixable. Everyone makes mistakes and if you haven't well good for you, Brandon made his and learned from it.
I gotta say that Dying seems to have a level head. His responses are seemingly positive and not excuse driven or ego minded. Good on him and good on him for wanting to get better.

Brush off and move on and get some seat time. Your buddy needs it also...

I agree with both the statements above. Glad you're okay buddy.

Now next we ride together I'll have the nicest looking bike ;)

  13. The straightaway and inexperience IMHO rookies have no business on that road this time of the year.

Dust yourself off and get back out there.... from now on when scouting a road take the first pass at a safe pace especially this time of the year too much gravel out there

I agree, save a aggressive rode like 555 for later in the season.

Everybody is just coming off of winter and still rusty!

    Glad you're ok Brandon!
