I appreciate your confidence in me but honestly, when it comes to upkeep on anything mechanical I'm pretty much in the dark and usually take the advice of a shop to do what they recommend. It may end up costing me money in the long run that didn't always need to be spent but it won't make me any more unsafe by taking their suggestions. I guess I can spot a "bad" tire easily but not sure about a normally wearing tire. Let's not forget I found some weird cuts on the rear tire and the tires do look a little strange in the way they are wearing. The front time has a flat strip maybe 1.5 to 2" wide that feels flat and the rear looks the same but the strip is wider. Is this just because I've done to much highway riding and not enough twisties this season?? I always keep them inflated properly. Check them almost every time I go out.

Same here. When i go out for a real "ride" I usually transfer my goods to my chain wallet. It's longer and thinner, and well, has a chain. If I wear my leather riding pants though it still has to go in my jacket cause the pants don't have pockets.

Have any of you tried the speedtest with your smartphone? I just did. Ran the test while layin on the couch in my living room, test #1 done with the cellular data, test #2 with cell data off and wifi activiated. I'm assuming I'd get a better cellular data speed if I stepped outside of my house since I don't get the best signal inside. Test #3, done with WIFI while sitting basically a few feet from my wireless router...

What kind of mileage should i expect from a set of Roadsmarts? Got them last last April and acording to the mileage On the receipt and my current mileage, they have a little over 5650 miles on them. Had my 12k mi service today at Honda Nw and they said to consider tires soon. Said front was wearing and that the rear had flat spots.

Another kudos to the service dept at HNW. Dropped my bike off there this morning around 11:am WITHOUT an appointment to have it's 12K mile service done. Got it back same day! They had it done in just a couple hours. And double kudos to the guy in the finance dept (forget his name) that sold me the prepaid service as part of my financing. I've had it serviced there three times now with ZERO out-of-pocket cost to me!
