That's cool a buddy of mine rescues pits the local shelter calls him all the time to take dogs

We had thought about a pit but the people in my neighborhood are strange and didn't want any unnecessary problems from them except people think she's a pit dumbasses. She's 8mnths and about 70lbs

That was my main concern also but my wife tends to put her hand on the tank when I brake and her ring put a small scratch on the last bike.

I ended up getting a used Lockhart Phillips rear stand off ebay for $40 its like new really heavy duty and works great

here's the one I got I liked it because it covers a larger area than most of the others.

Well I was going to wipe the area down with alcohol just wasn't sure if I should wait for a really warm day or if 50 degrees is cool.

I finally got a tank pad for my bike. My question is how sticky are these things? How warm should it be before I apply it?

I'll have to skip this one wife works and its a little to far from home with kids home alone.

OK I'm too lazy right now to read all of this what day are you planning this?

I have not heard anything good about the hotbodies poor fitting, the lights are not bright barely visible in the daylight.

I ended up going with the http://www.targa-acc.com/ kit the light is a little bigger than I wanted but it is really bright probably brighter than the stock one and I was able to keep my tie down hooks.

Take it to Ohio Motorcycle I asked the service department when I bought my 14 about adding after market stuff and they said as long as I did not cut any wires on the bike they would not void the warranty.

Well I suppose we could let you count that.

I got to put about 60 miles on today they really don't know what salt is up here in Ashtabula County.

I was heading down rt 307 about 65-70 approaching a small bridge or culvert anyway there was a short section of guardrail and there was a big ass buzzard sitting on the guardrail. As soon as I saw it I moved next to the center line to give me some room to play with and it just sat there as a truck coming the other direction passed so I thought maybe I'd get through without it moving. Until I got about 100 feet from it then it decided to take flight. At first it looked like it was just gonna fly parallel to the road but all of the sudden it breaks left and heads across the road right at me. I reacted so fast I really wasn't sure what I had done. My bud that was behind me said I was off the left side of the bike like I was trying to drag knee and the buzzard missed me by about 3 inches.
