I don't go there trying to set any records.... insurance doesn't pay if I wreck it on drag strip... but it is fun and something to do other than bike night.... I never made it out there last year I'm curious how I'll do now with the stretch.

For Thompson you will be good with your normal riding gear I've run 140 there and they have never said anything about needing leathers. As far as launching goes take it easy and get used to how your bike reacts on the sticky track don't go out there and try to launch hard your first time you need to find the sweet spot for you on your bike. Just take it easy at first you want to avoid bogging the engine down, get the clutch out as quick as possible without pulling a 12 o'clocker, get WOT and keep it there, oh and don't miss a shift. Oh and stay off the rev limiter If my ankle is healed up by then I'll join you

So when should we expect the - Help me I fried my harness and need to rewire my bike thread?

Magz I sincerely hope you or anyone else on here never has to use a gun for protection but should that need ever arise it would become clear why some of choose to carry guns.

Ohio's helmet law was repealed in 1978 seat belt law wasn't until 1986... I don't agree with either law it should be your choice to wear or not wear.

I feel for you I'm 38 and would like to lose about 40lbs so I started Insanity a week ago. It's kicking my ass and I'm still struggling but each day I can do a little more. I probably should have started on a different program first because insanity isn't really designed for a fat man but I'm gonna give it hell. Hang in there it'll get easier just remember were not as young as we used to be you are going to hurt and it's going to take longer to recover so know your limits and ease back into it.

I want to see just how good my new map from Brock's is. It feels amazing riding it but the numbers will tell. I don't think it runs anywhere as rich as it did on my last map because it doesn't have real strong smell anymore.

Glad you and the bike made it out ok

These were sold in March sorry I assumed everyone knew spf = sold pending funds

I've done 40+ mph winds just lean into the wind you'll be fine after a couple times you won't even think about it.
