Lol! These guys are really good riders. The one on the older kat (89), bill, he lives n newark and has been out that way millions of times. Jim is a solid rider as well...both have probably over 20 years riding ohio roads each so they should b good. :-)

:-( - bad news i'm out for this one.....i'm moving next weekend and have to cont packing and have a 5-6 page paper due sunday. Really bummed about this..... John - There maybe two guys showing up from katriders.com. One is Jim on a blue katana with a yellow windscreen and Bill on an older kat that is black. I told them i wouldnt be able to make it, but they would still be more than welcome. i told them to look out for you on either you Sprint on aprillia. You guys enjoy the ride and be safe.

I may b lone n this but I would recommend a katana. The prices r good and the r extremely reliable. Penty of online and local help on katriders.com I had a 06kat 600 for a first bike...not the fasted but more than capable. Most folks will hate on them but u don't ride motorcycle for most folks. On the other hand I really like the triumph sprinter st as well. I've seen what they can do - jmathis (john) can roll his like crazy!

Ditto that! Just dont take 70 to get there unless you want to die of boredom...trust me. Get to 78 and take it East till u hit 260 South and then 7 east and cross over to WV...i believe 7 connects with 250 - go north and hit 70, go S and have a good time. :-) You'll just have to find your way back, but i'm sure it will be fun. :-)

CONGRATS on all the milestones!!! :-) At the rate i'm going 90k will be another 10 years away.....i hope to change that, but probably wont happen till the kids are grown. :-)

Thanks Ben. Great write up. I believe those were one of my options and I'm leaning toward them. Money is definitely and issue now wit the Vegas trip next week. Doug might be able to hook me up wit the ebc's but if the price ain't as good then it'll be decision time again. :-(

Interstest....i guess as long as thats normal it would be ok. You getting used to the noise? I wanna get some pads that will work for my style of riding (which aint really fast, but i like to stop at any speed LOL). I'm curious is all sincenster style pads make those types of noises..... Anyone know if cermanic pads are worth the extra coin? EBC has some of those as well that i think are about $10 more per pad....

ok, what kind of noise we talking about? I get squeeking now from mine, but how would you describe the noise they make? Can you hear it when slowing down or almost when your at a complete stop? Is it annoying? Sorry for all the questions. :-)

ben let me sit on his busa on the ride saturday and it did feel kinda wierd at first, but after a sec i was very comfy....i hope to get one for Christmas. :-) I say that because the mrs is sitting here watching me type this..... ;-)
