Grab a hotel at that exit of 71, Days Inn is there and cheap. I know there are some others too, the Holiday Inn has a huge indoor pool/water park, not like Great Wolf Lodge etc, but better than just a pool, if anyone is coming. Good eats close to the track, bars, etc. Heck, if I go home Saturday night vs. drive up my parents aren't home you'd be more than welcome to just crash at their place. They wanted me to stop by if I ran the event anyways.

Turned out I had a radiator hose split a little at Putnam, and the bodywork is repaired structurally but nothing cosmetic until end of the season, or I start running my good bodywork.

I bought 2 from Ebay, they are factory seconds and you can't tell the difference. TonnoPro brand, and paid like nothing for shipping and got it 2 days later. I can't see any difference at all from it and the others, and its a trifold, with closure snaps. I've had it on my truck 24/7/365 for 3 years now. Love it. Also my truck is an F250 LB so it was more than normal size trucks too. I got me and dad one and they discounted them by taking off the SH for both to 2 different address's.

Sucks dude, only time I've ever seen my father cry, even with losing both of his parents pretty young, was when we had to put our last dog down. Everytime I see a post like this and read it and look at my 7yr old pound mutt, I tear up. He lays by my side anytime I'm home and I can't shake him, he's attached. Dad love's when we bring Basco home but he's only there for a few days at a time, and when he leaves dad always is pretty tore up. Brandon, yeah that has been the general thing I worked on that weekend, actually was doing better too, but naturally still go back to old ways too at times. I did make progress in that aspect. Other thing Craig has me working on is getting on the throttle earlier in the turn, as soon as I can see the finish of the turn, trying to get the drive out. I improved on that a lot on Sunday too, especially out of the last turn really getting it upright quicker and getting the power to the ground. I picked up a few things from watching Gray race too, and tried to put that into play. But yes, definitely need to make it more of a natural action for me to get the head lower. And yes, that dues Fray was totally annoying, not really sure why that was allowed especially in the races and shit, but whatever.

Wait, isn't this supposed to be about Brandon and his first AMA race, not all this other bull shit? I mean honestly, I love this thread, but now it's like that dudes thread about falling over at 10mph, it just goes on and on about pointless shit in regards to the AMA race. When it all comes down to it, that is what this thread was for. He came in, started a professional thread, and many of us backed him, putting everything behind us for a time. It would be nice if everyone could act civilized for one thread, not even a period of time, just until this thread goes away. I find it hard to believe someone has that much hate for someone on an internet forum, that this isn't possible. And no, I'm not sucking Brandon's balls, I'm also proud of Neyra, Wrobel, Kerr, etc anyone at all who can go out and do these kind of things that are local, are exciting and we should do anything we can to support them. Would've loved this event, but oh well. I just requested to leave early Friday's for the Nelson events I can make, so should be running all 3 days those weekends. Hoping some others can make it Friday too. Have fun up there, weather is looking better by the minute. We have a late model race tomorrow night at Attica too so hoping it doesn't rain out. 2K to win.
