Okay, Im not going to talk shit or be a dick here, but anyone who wants to get into things and get some advice etc. feel free to post up or PM me. Ask Blue03636fag, I helped him get some stuff jump started and I've been working with people for awhile. I've been working out for over 12 years religously and am personal friends with several IFBB pros, trainers, etc. If you have muscle pains take some ibuprofin, aleave, and use some BenGay/pain reliever gel. BUT if you are doing this for more than 2 days, you over trained them. Also up the food intake the first 2 weeks or so adding extra protein, or just a protein bar a day, and drink more water. NOT pop or shit like that.

That's a great pace for a slow ZJ in turn 1, you'll be done by the bus stop and resting by the straight. Dude we need to gay this shit up now. I have to be careful at work posting but I can post anything I want at home lol. So whose sleeping with me the first night, Craig or MyKill? Or wait, maybe we will get crazy and you two can spoon and I can hang with Andy's dog Max? It weighs about 8lbs now I think, so I better be careful. -

WOAH DONT DO THAT without a throwout switch chief. If you do and the power comes back on, you will be wishing that you hadn't real fast. Throwout switches were running 199 last I looked at HD, but should ONLY be installed by someone who knows what they are doing since you have to cut power to the house to do so. But yes, I have 2 sets of family with this done, 1 will run enough lights to have 1-2 on in every room, fridges, heat, and fans etc. Another has a whole house, like 50,000W or some crazy thing and that will power his whole house or several houses. But like I said, you can't just plug one in, well you can, but be prepared to cry if the power comes on and you dont have it done right. The throwout switch cuts power to the generator right away and there is no over power/surges that blow shit up. I plan to have this once we move to our permanent location after selling our current place in a few years.

Just a pull off/parking area for my F250 and enclosed trailer both or my 28ft TT when I have it at the house vs. storage. But yes, your estimates are about right, hence why after this weekend, going to have to penny pinch to hit many more days. Sucks, but so is life. Oh not to mention the wedding and honeymoon less than 6 mos away. Cuz those are cheap lol.

Well I just got a call from our house painter and also our paving company who wants to start tomorrow. Painter just finished today and gotta pay him the final amount pending, and the paving company is prepping tomorrow, paving Thursday, so they need paid Thursday. That's basically the track funds for the year lol, but now I just have to wait and rebuild the play money account. No worries, I have some May plans already, now just need the $$ for play. Good luck everyone! Hope to see you in May.

No in regards to not being passed in the inside, I am pretty confident there WILL be passing on hte inside eventually. Especially with a 2 day full event, people are going to get tired of being behind people. -
Yeah buddy this is pretty normal coming back to the game, hence why people start over and then stop right away and continue doing so. Normally the first 2 workouts per bodypart will be painful. Now you really shoudn't be in as much pain as it sounds like you are but tightness, swelling, and some pain is good. Nothing that 2 Ibuprofin or Aleave's won't cure, shouldnt that is. If it is more than that, then you over did it big time. Im not a trainer, but I train people all the time, and have been lifting for about 10 years pretty seriously, even have a supplement company that contributes to my needs. Legal stuff, nothing more, but clothes, shakers, supps. discounted pretty huge. Anyways, my recommendation would be to stretch AFTER you workout, it's proven that stretching before weights does nothing truly beneficial, but some light cardio does. Movement lubes the joints, stretching just puts stress on them. Stretching after a weight session helps to stetch the muscle fibers and facia making them less prone to soreness, and helping in recovery. Did you do a full body workout? If you are just getting back into it, my best advice would be full body every 2-3 days, MWF, stuff like that, BUT key is not to overdo it, like 1-2 exercises at most per body part, with sets being 12-15 reps for 3 sets total. I.E. Do the same workouts for about 4 weeks then change things up, maybe change to certain body parts per day, or just the exercises.

I remember hte one time we ran N at Putnam, and during registration they handed us a printed out number on 8.5x11 paper HUGE. Ananda looked at the lady and said what do we do with this, the lady goes, duct tape it to your windscreen lol. Ananda goes, wait what? And the lady repeated herself, it was unreal. -

Oh ya, I meant that, like small numbers 1x1 from Lowes, not like the huge numberrs on my bike LOL. Dude some of the posts further up made me laugh out loud. "more packed than Craigs ass at MS" I just laughed again. But yeah, like Brian and Mykill said, there is worse shit to be doing on a weekend then hanging with friends at a track. Not to mention the gayness that will be going on, people may not want to be on the track when we go out there anyways lol. Oh and that 6ft and outside of turns only in Int. I can say that won't happen with about 9(% certinty. Not from me, but yeah, just saying. -

Craig will you have a sheet of numbers or do I need to hit Lowes real fast, for the helmet stuff? I don't want some gay shit on there since it's a brand new helmet, actually Im not overly happy about that one, but whatever. Bikes numbered already, but helmet isn't. Im 539, not sure if Mike is numbered on bike? Just in case we only want to get 1 set of numbers or whatever. If I don't hear from ya today Ill hit lowes after work since its on the way. Do they have to be white? -

"Test the Track", = track walk? -
I cannot wait to suffer this weekend. Are you still bringing the gerbals and chains? I can pack the rubber sheets. I have nothing to add of value to this thread, everything's been covered a few times in the stickies and through this thread.
-
You're so smooth Keith Stone. Everytime I read a post I am amazed by your infinite wisdom. I cannot wait to spend countless hours with you this weekend for our Putnam trip. Remember, you are riding up front with me, Mikey is in the back.
-
You nailed it there, a lot of the earlier posts pertain to that statement exactly, you have to make the basic instinct to do what is correct, not what you think is. I've been there too, eveyone has. Difference is mine was a controlled track area, yours was on the street in street gear etc. Definitely practice and get the study time now, it will only help and make you safer, for yourself and others.
-
Yeah bud, like KTM said, no one is trying to be mean or anything here, but from reading what you wrote, you definitely need to take some course, read some books, then think about a novice track day. If I were in your shoes and laid a bike out with less than 400 miles on it, I would be more concerned about practicing the basics, then looking for turns with "double apex's" and things of that nature. Honestly, even those of us that ride tracks exclusively see that many double apex's etc. Sure we do, but we also ride them a lot, and have more than 400 miles in experience. Also losing the front at 10mph, and sliding?? Definitely get some practice in a parking lot before heading out to the street, then I would recommend more straigh streets and turns that flow, nothing complicated. Stick to the basics, and go from there.
