I just laughed aloud, my fiance looked at me, read this, and realized where my $ is going. She was not impressed. Tyler I think you're a lot like most of us, girl, house, cars, and then.... track/racing. Basically, I don't sign up for anything too far in advance because in reality, it's always a game time decision if I want to spend the money in that way. I'm not going to win anything in a race, or a track day, so I have to really see it as a way of spending time with friends, and getting my adrenaline fix. First year I did the CC thing, racked up some debt, and am just finishing paying it off. Granted there's more to that story like a DUI, and other things, but yeah, don't do that. I do what Gixxie says and Craig, I buy things when I can afford them. Like my transmitter, used some OT $ to pay for that. Then when I do go to track days/races, I do it budget style. Cold cuts at lunch from the grocery, bottled water, hotel splits, ride shares, etc. With our wedding of 250-300 people coming up, I had to trim the budget big time this season. I wanted to race almost all the MS events, I can only make 5-6 now, 1-2 mid O days, and then 1 putnam weekend. I just had to make choices. Overall, be smart, and you're quote is correct. Especially since MS doesn't pay $$.

This, I did it last year at Nelson, and made sure I locked the lock outside with the bar not in place so I didn't get locked in. I only have 1 tiny barrel lock and it held the door closed fine. Rain storm that night and not a drop through the door. I am adding a max air vent to mine before next trip so I can leave the vent open in a rain storm more than just a crack to. Put them on my travel trailer and they are really nice. Looks good man, I was going to paint mine but said screw it lol.

Funny I just did the same and remembered that; Anyways, it sounds like we can fill 2 vehicles pretty easily and ride share all this to save costs. I'd def. be in for both days at 245, just may need a set of tires by the second, or within the following week before Nelson for sure. Cox, if we take your trailer, let's mess with the plug/outlet on my truck and get some conducting grease on that thing so we don't have the beeps.... IF you cant go with the STT weekend already approved, we will just roll in my Vnose, no biggy. If R1 can come and everyone else, that should fill 2 trailers with 3.

EPIC. Yeah, if it's 130 a day or close to it, I'm in for both. I can't pass that up, esp. with Ride Share. Not to mention some races to run and get more time in that atmosphere would be helpful.

Cough cough, actually I talked to Dubguy yesterday who was kind enough to point out these Putnam dates to me too and I'm definitely interested. Just gotta check on the funds with MS the next weekend. I also haven't been back to Putnam in 3 years so not sure how my day would go. I looked at the website for the org. running the trackdays that weekend and it looks like Saturday is race school/track day, and Sunday per Dub is a normal track day which he is control riding. The price was actually LOWER than any of their other days through the season I believe too. Don't quote me on that because I didn't really make that much sense of it all. If you all wanted to just do 1 of the 2 days I would almost 100% be in. I got my enclosed back too Brian so I can always head up to your place, meet with Craig and all 3 of us roll out together? And yes, I would need to run Int. while you fast guys run A, but maybe Dub and you 2 could work with me a bit too since you'll both be breaking in the engines first few sessions Free coaching is always nice!

By far the best thread in months; Those stalls are definitely the upgrade. At work, there is only one other stall and its not even 3 feet wide. I like to have air circulating around me when I'm doing work, and with these tiny stalls, I cant. I usually walk around until I find one not being used and get er done.

Not what I'm seeing, well at night yeah, but that's perfect sleeping weather. Not to mention we are still over 30 days from the 1st day so plenty of time. Praying more for dry than warm...

This is true, Mike did. But little birdies told me that his bike's gonna be up and running before the end of the month or so. Easily before Nelson MS events. I'm definitely ready to hit some more track time sooner than later. The weather is killing me.

I wanna try to hit Barber end of the year this season. I know Dubguy and his dad did late last year too, and hoping to catch that weekend with them this season if they are able to go. Too bad you didn't post this up 2 weeks ago, we were at Jennings with about 10 OR guys/gals.

I've rode with Dub's dad 2 or 3 times now, 3 total and I can say this dude is FAST and smooth. It's actually an honor to ride with someone like him because of what he brings to the table. He actually has helped me more times than I can say with all kinds of track things. Not to mention he's just super legit, friendly, funny as heck, and a good man. 60 and still ripping stuff up at the track!
