The way it looks I will be doing Mid O Saturday, and playing the following week day by day. My #'s last month blew so I just checked my commission check on the 30th and it blows. This means I need to ensure I have plenty of cash for the ending months and trips through the winter to ride so most likely only riding 1-2 days from Sat 27th on until mid Sept. For reference, our biggest dirt track races are in Sept. so that doesn't help the $ cause. HOWEVER, I am blowing this month away with commissions so Sept. 30th should be huge, may plan a few more days in Sept. than I had planned originally. Aug 27th at Mid O, I am in, as of now, that is all. I most likely will be staying in Mansfield that night as my GF and my Dog will be with me to Mid O and I would go up early Sat. to drop off the dog, get the parents and head to the track. They help me out in the pits/paddock so it just make sense. Plus I have an instructor from Mansfield I am trying to get to ride with me 1 on 1 so I can improve.

There is stuff at Sams club and most grocery stores called Odor Ban. It kills HIV, not kidding, read the bottle. My old dog used to urinate anywhere my puppy would lay, rub, brush the wall, anything. I mean like big time urinate, and this stuff took the smell TOTALLY out. No need to dilute either, it is enviromentally friendly. Odor-Ban, it's like greenish in a clear bottle.

You can put any pucks on. They all have velcro from what I've seen. Someone will have extras, but normally the pants or suit comes with the first set. Take a look if not someone will have them there.

Not looking overly hard, but I am starting to look for a Transponder for racing. Figure it is 35 a rental for Motoseries, and it will pay for itself pretty quickly. I will post on Wera and MotoS. in the future but figure I will start here first.

Finishing up the bike this weekend with the front end, rear brake bolts, and exhaust clamp and springs. Figure since I need to change the oil and flush the cooling system, might as well spend the whole day doing it. Bought some good bits at Lowes, trying 2 different kinds, the ones with the shank on them, 5 sided insert with the bit in it, and then normal bits both. No jig, just going to take my time and do it all right and then use diaper clips and keep it classy. EDIT: Tried 3 bits today working on them, 2 from Lowes, and 1 from Home Depot. The Lowes Dewalt Titanium was by far the best. It did not skip, slide, just cut right through everything. I used cutting oil, and a nice drill press and got it done pretty quick. Going to go back at it this winter when I tear the suspension down to send off to Reuben. Got the front calipers and rear caliper done with diaper pins, but the front, I only drilled one through hole and left it at that. I don't plan on changing tires this season so figure it will be fine until winter.

Ya they will withstand a little more, but the cost to me outweighs the difference, big time. I had a Wally World POS one that I couldnt kill. I had it for 5 years now and JUST through it out last weekend since it had a broken leg since last year end of season. After I tossed it, another guy came over and took the canopy off of it becuase it was 100% perfect. I now run a 8x8 one from Kroger, paid 50 OUT THE DOOR for it. I would love an EZ Up brand, but I can buy like 6 of these for the cost of that. I will have one some day, but for now, the cheapy's seem to work.

Dub, get me the dates, I might be interested in going over. May have to kick Jen off your umbrella and I will just be your little umbrella b*tch. But for real, I'd like to make it over there for that race weekend, not to run, just to be there. I think I'll only be racing the last day at Nelson, but I plan on taking a 3.5 day weekend and running every track day that I can that weekend. See you at lunch tomorrow we can discuss then.

Check the link Dubguy posted, has everything there you could ask for. If you think you need 6 waters, bring 18, same with gatorade. Actually I am going to start bringing 2 pedialytes with me every weekend. It might sound stupid, but with riding as much and hard as you will, it will help with cramps. I had my quad and my tri crap so bad, my tri was still sore Wednesday after riding Fri, Sat, and Sunday.

Man wish I could but I gotta be at work next week, we have people out already. I am thinking the Saturday Max Twilight will be my Mid O date this month as it turns out because it is also Indy MotoGP and should be a light turnout.
