IT WILL NOT RAIN tomorrow. I can tell. Leaving work by 12:30 today, heading to Dicks accross the st. to grab a rain suit then to the track. Should be there by 4pm. Blue, no homo but I will most likely need some help getting used to the new back protector and keeping it in place when Im getting my suit on, only used it once so far... Dont worry I just put a lock on the inside of my trailer so we can keep it hush hush. Cant wait!

Man, how I loved living in the fraternity house during papers like this, or finals, or mids, or well, any paper or exam.... Filing Cabinets of past stuff dating back to the 50's. Granted a lot of that was outdated, but changing details to current topics etc. worked wonders. I do not however miss studying, wait....

I wanted to go to this but chose Race School this weekend at Nelson instead, poop I didnt know it was like all these events. Oh well, my GF would kill me if I went two weekends in a row. But then I don't have to go to work on the following Monday... Hmmm, Dubguy??

SAme here, either that Tuesday OR Aug 30th Tuesday, and most likely the 30th. Steve, let me know what you decide if one day is better than the other, BUT I think Dubguy and I were planning on the 30th. I can't afford to do both right now though with Nelson this weekend, and possibly racing, along with track time FRiday night too now.

Weren't you running take offs? The Battleax's weren't bad until the AM sessions of grattan but that was due to the new track and grimey AM, humid/moisture. But dang that track is aweosme. Anyways, leaving tomorrow from Polaris at noon. Can't wait, it has been a LONG week.

I was there for that, the day itself was fine, I didn't have any grip issues, and that was running with the old Battleax's, no running pratically new Power Pures. So I ain't skurred, but want to let it rip.

Bryan, you live around Richland/Morrow/Ashland Counties right? Let me talk to my dad, he used to sell heavy equipment around the area and might know some places too. He is out of town all week, but I may have some info for your at Nelson Sunday. Remind me when we are there and if I don't as of yet, I will call and ask him about smaller shops etc. I know Ontario and Lex. both have some privately owned shops that carry used equipment too. I used to work Landscaping in summers through college and we would go there a lot. Right on W. 4th street before the railroad bridge and Grhams, then out off 309 in Ontario I believe there is a dealer. Also Mid O gravely on 39 in Madison right off 71, BUT they have always been higher priced and I don't think ever had the selection of used stuff the other 2 did. Oh there was one by the fairgrounds too in Richland County(Ontario) that was open that had a TON of stuff too. They opened after I was working summers though, but I stopped in there once. Ashland County would be a great place too, just don't personally know anyone there.

I may be wrong but they don't look alike at all. Just asked my co-worker too, he agreed. The girl in OSU stuff is WAY hotter. 2ihb tho.

I am taking 1/2 day friday, just sent the request, heading up and arriving by 4pm, and looking to run if dry Friday to get some ideas of my times and see how I feel about the possibility of running Sunday, as long as I pass race school

I wasn't bashing, one of my main goals in life is to get my pilots license. My best friend just got done at OSU with his, and is currently getting his teaching licenses so hopefully I will begin in a year or two. I meant like he would have to stop for fuel in most small 1 engine planes, set up landings to get fuel, set up a pilot, etc. My dads best friend however was killed in a small single engine due to someone like you speak of. Ran his engines too lean and ended up killing the pilot, dads friend(he introduced my mom and dad, hence me), and his wife. But promise I wasn't bashing bro.

Explore all airports within any realistic driving distance to check flight times. Small plane=fail, I would rather you be late then end up on the news. Charters are big bucks so unless Jimmy Tressel still has some pull at OSU screw that. Good luck is about all I got.

Ghetto is no question, but it could work. I have seen a ton of these kinda things at the dirt track races. Is it the best option, not sure. If I were you I would most likely try to sell what you have, save a few mos. then get an enclosed. You can find them cheap for sure.

Just registered for Race School. Forgot that once you get your L's racing helps with track day costs. Thanks Nick for pointing that out, makes for way more fun and seat time! Still not sure about Friday night as I might end up running the mini 20 Sunday instead of running Friday. I will however be up at a pretty decent hour, if I run by 4pm, if not, I might still leave work early and come watch etc.
