Interesting conversation with a few thieves last night.
madcat6183 replied to Gixxus Christ!'s topic in Dumpster
Most interesting part here, which my wife and I both started to really believe in, is cell phone footage. Anymore we always ensure whoever isn't carrying has their cell phone on them and ready for video when we are doing things like walking the kiddo/dog, or anywhere that is kinda questionable. Just kind of something we both feel could be something useful in a defensive situation. Also finally made the investment in good flashlights, high lumen tactical ones for things like this, figure it's going to cause them to have to adjust to see and also give me light to get a plate info, etc. -
Believe Wera said the lower bathrooms now have some next to them.

Oh in that case, I've drove the Ecoboost (older)4cvl in the Edge AWD and loved it vs my moms edge with the 3.0 V6 and AWD. It picked up WAY faster, and was a lot more fun lol. That's uncle Gary's escort you see in CW by the water tower, it has the older 4cyl Eco. I forgot you mentioned that.

I don't get why this isn't allowed in cases like this. Dude is convicted, admitted to it, broke out of prison, why can't the police or whoever just kill him. Land owner, farmer, some random dude with a gun, who cares. Now instead we're all paying for him to live 70 years of life behind bars. Sweet.

You won't get a new one for 15K, you'd be looking 2012 and older if you want 4x4. Unless prices have come down that fast? Dunno, never really looked into pricing of them used.

FTFY Serious question about all these people rioting which I know has been asked, but do none of them work? I don't even have that much spare time, at work....
-
What if I play with toy guns and make pow pow sounds? Does that count?

Yeah, don't get a 4cyl, they rev like crazy, and have no balls. Actually Chumley's friend Tracy(hair stylist in CW) has one, she said she likes it minus that. It's a pretty base model I believe but she said other than the high reving the 4cyl is fine however mpg isn't much different. I filled up Amanda's car last night and she got 24.9mpg last fill up, and again, that's ONLY city driving, maybe 20 miles on the highway. Not sure where Angel works or what that commute will be like post move, but if it's not like Hilliard I would guess she can squeeze even more out of it. We're close to year 3 with it, no issues minus the wife rear ending someone.

I saw this post on FB as well but that's the last race weekend of the year and already have reserved tix for the 3 day show. The rest of Oct. is actually wide open though.

Amanda's mom has one. Gets about 20-22mpg going from Chumleys to Devry and that's it, so mixed driving up Hamilton to 33 to however shes goes. Her's is the limited so it's loaded to the tops, was about 21K used, but that was 6 months after someone paid cash for it, so the dealer didn't need to make much. Amanda's is a 2wd V6, and I like it. Could easily get hers now for 15K no problem. She gets about 24-26mpg with city driving, could easily get 26-28 freeway only. In all honesty, I would happily drive one, we didn't care about the 4x4 as we obviously have my truck, but had we needed an SUV with 4x4 it would have been that. Then again, I'm a diehard Ford guy as you know. But yeah, in the end, we are completely happy with it.

You're definitely right. Plus EWR sucks, DET is at least a decent airport. EWR literally smells like pi** in the bathrooms, like someone peed all over the floors.

Wow just saw this on the news this AM, real nice.

Oh no idea, I don't know the guy well enough to dip into $ talk. I know he has a good amount but he also lives in Mansfield, so he doesn't have that much lol. Im guessing he spent some good coin on it, but sounds worth it to him, maybe not all, but I know he's out there from the minute hes off work until he goes to bed. If I was going to do that, I'd make the place the ritz carlton.

Our race shop uses gas infared heat ; http://www.grainger.com/product/7DC29?cm_mmc%3Dppc%3Agoogleplac-_-HVAC%20and%20Refrigeration-_-Gas%20Heaters%20and%20Accessories-_-7DC29%26ci_src%3D14110944%26ci_sku%3D7DC29 They park 3 cars in there at a time, plus 1-2 plow trucks depending, I would guess his to be about 20 feet long, and it's like an oven in there. No idea what he pays for gas but his house is a smaller ranch gas heat as well. I think the guy who put it in his floor was more for heating the concrete slightly, then he said most likely will be using a pellet stove inside for the rest. He commented that the wood outside stoves eat wood, but he didn't care cuz his neighbor owns the biggest tree company in Richland county so free wood year round. In the end, honestly, I only know that Chumleys electric heater in his 20x40 bay is about the worst idea ever. He has bills of over 700 a month during last winter, that I know for a 100% fact. That's a super basic setup, but he also keeps it warm in there, like 75, and runs a space heater on himself too. I do know it's like a normal house electric unit, not like a true garage/shop heater. He has ductwork, like those round tubes that downsize every 5 feet to a smaller diameter. That's the 1 thing I 100% wouldn't do for something like that. My dad runs something like this in his 6 car attached garage and keeps it about 65 in the winter and works fine but said he would go to infared NG next time they build. http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_595_595?utm_source=Natural&utm_medium=Covario&utm_campaign= His is way bigger than that unit though.

The materials to heat the floors, sorry I think I am still drunk from the weekend and just babbling about random stuff that I remember him telling me.
-
Guy who was at the races this weekend with us said he just built his 2nd and did a 40x60 16 high ceilings and has a 2nd floor he uses. Full concrete floor with heated floors, said it's the only way to go. Never thought about that before, but he has several classic muscle cars and lifts and said after working all day at the air base the last thing he wants to stand on is cold concrete. Said he did it himself and was actually pretty cheap.

Man did you guys see that N2....... Oh wait, wrong thread. I miss you guys. Good luck and be safe.

So, I heard there's a good, close race in the 600 class with MotoSeries? Wish I was still running I might have had a chance to get in that mix, but I quit. JBot, daughter is cute, if she doesn't start sleeping, just remember we went 12 months and a week before we got over 5 nights of our kid sleeping a full night. That was awesome.

Wrong, FTP!!!! Except Cox, I love me some Cox. JK JK But the trailer I bought just happens to be the same brand as the current registration is for Plus towing a 13K+ 5th wheel doesn't make me want to speed very often lol.
-
Were there just insurance adjusters all over the place taking tally on all the claims they were about to get?
-
I just slap tags on stuff, F the DMV and FTP Okay I just do that with my trailers, but that's because I seem to upgrade every few years and once I pay renewal on them I'm getting my money out of the tags.

Guy has a XDS-45 up for like 650 online right now, so I'd say this is a good price.
