  1. Okay Im bored again, someone post more stipple pics. Purddy please.
  2. Yeah, I mean it was more of a question and just to get input than anything, after looking more at the shield not sure it'd be a gun I would do. It has a pretty aggressive grip already, which the guy I talked to at LEPD told me yesterday. Honestly, I was impressed, dude could have tried to talk me into doing it for 35 a side, instead he told me he probably wouldn't do a Shield, but would do more of the other MP Models first. I gotta get in to the range soon anyways so maybe I'll ask if they have any I can fondle/shoot of other models anyways.
  3. Oh man, getting some drinks after class too? I like this more and more.
  4. Yeah, honestly, more doing it cuz it's "cool", no joke. I have no issues that I know of with recoil, grip, etc. granted I am pretty novice. Thanks for the pics Parks, Im sure we will eventually get together for range time and I can go pow pow with your MP's. That's going to be the line of pistols I continue to purchase so figure might as well feel them out.

    Stippling?

I know Parks does it kinda here and there, more for his toys I think as I can't imagine it's "fun". Anyways, anyone else know of local shops in Cbus that do it? I'd prefer not to ship my gun out, and also curious about cost? No chance of me taking a chance on doing it, but I think I want my Shield done with some light stippling. Parks; comments? Thoughts on what something like that costs locally? I guess if you came in Nov. I could send it home with you if you're up for it, thing is, no idea when I would get a chance to get it back lol. I found Boomboomtactical in Cbus does it, but can't access at work to get info and call, plus I would be nervous with no knowledge of their work. Turns out it's LEPD on Bethel. Wow, that was cheaper than I thought, 35 each side and turn time 1 day. Can't decide if I wanna do it or not. If anyone has a piece they can bring to the class in Nov. I think I wanna touch it first
  6. Oh nice, I can access that link at work, meaning I can drool all day.
  7. Yup, that's him, good stuff man. I believe some of my friends from Richland County Sheriffs and some probe officers I am friends with back home(Mansfield) are friends with him. Good on you.
  8. Is that the cop that got hit a bunch of times during that unplanned "raid" when he found the grow? I know his name was Brandon, believe OR did a fund raiser or at least it was all over OR.
  9. Can we get some more gun porn please?
  10. I know we've had past threads but I've been really bored at work and need some new gun porn. Wanted to start a new thread simply for peoples EDC rigs. Kydex, leather, pleather, etc. Post up some pics people I need this in my life.
  11. TY, I was thinking I shouldn't click or google them at work and honestly hadnt taken the time at home either lol. I'll take a better look tonight.
  12. Okay since I can't make the Oct. date for this, wanted to try to set up something in early November to go see these guys and get some tactical work outside of just range time. Talked to Craig, he's open any weekend in Nov. as of now so am I minus Thanksgiving weekend obviously, which is too late in the month. How does November 8th sound? Technically the second weekend of the month, but I am guessing people will be having Halloween parties the 1st so don't want to coincide with that. Not sure how many guys they require, nor the class types, need to look on FB, just been lazy, but I figure any training is better than none. So far myself, Craig(blueballs/Keith Stone), maybe Jbot?, and a guy from work are in. If that sounds good, let's get the ball rolling. Maybe Kawi can post up some more info on the class, i.e. time, what's needed, etc. in here not just on FB. Thanks!
  13. Will do, I will talk to the crew this week and get with you guys. Thanks!
  14. I need to look into PLEX too, and plan on Chromecast soon too. Especially once we do a basement TV around the holidays. Rumor is a cheap chinese 40in LED tv will be 150 shipped off Ebay/Slickdeals. For that price I'll just get a Roku stick, and Chromecast for the basement, and antenna. Less than 250 for all that.
  15. Can't do the 18th, but I have 3 interested in the next class. Craigypoo, and a kid from work, maybe 2 from work actually.
  16. Thanks bud, I honestly never heard of either of those. Really appreciate it.
  17. Really? Haven't heard of either, but will be looking into that, if that's the case I will get a google Chrome too and just stream stuff from the laptop. Thanks!
  18. The Stick is awesome, can't even see it from behind the TV and speed is fine. Already watched MNF and I think it actually has a better pic then the 3 did. Very happy.
  19. Killer deal here, WOW. http://weraclassifieds.com/ads/my-2007-gsxr600-ama-bike-complete-race-package/#axzz3DPPkmDAB 5,500 for ALL this and Tuna is legit. I can't believe all the spares and the build is all included for this price, wish I was coming back next year but as of now not planning to for at least the start of the year....
  20. Dude that is an unreal price, remember people Fall is coming, then winter, then spring. The next few seasons are the ones you WANT to have emergency power, we all know that. That is LESS than you pay for the 3500 watt Champions and has substantially more power! You can almost run a whole house with this, easily 2 fridge/freezers, gas furnace blower, lights, PC, TV, just not like a dryer or Electric furnace and all of that. Good dael here!
  21. Going to bump this back up, looks like our Roku 3 we got refurbished died after just over a year. Our 2XD is still running strong, which is also a refurb model and was like 45 bucks, but anyways, I am replacing the 3 with a Roku Stick HDMI model. One reason is our new house we got a 2.1 bluetooth SS system and the only thing we'll have on the mantel after installing the Stick is the speaker. Everything else is hidden behind the TV or on a shelf off to the side of the room/floor, so nothing really cluttering the mantel making wife happy. With that said, reviews are good, seems like it's processor is more like the 2 processor speed, which is nice, but the 3 was way faster, whatever. It does however come with a remote that has direct Netflix access which is 99% of what we use, other than an ESPN log in from a friend. With all of that, it's only 50.00 and I added another remote app to both of Iphone's-APPLE RULES(jkjk no apple war here please), and read that I can actually open Netflix and YouTube directly from my phone and it will open in the Roku Stick on the TV automatically if I allow it to. Which I like. We planned to try this model in our basement when we move the old TV from our living room to Luke's play room down there and replace it with a Smart TV but just doing it a little earlier as we wanted to wait til the holidays to get the Smart TV. In the end we've had cable cut for 18+ months now, and honestly, I don't feel like I've missed anything. Saving over 60.00 a month, and everything is caught up on, minus SOA which should release to Netflix any day since the new season just started. I do think I will buy a Chromecast at some point simply so the wife can stream her stupid Vampire shows without having to move the laptop at all. Then again, maybe not......
  22. Good, hope he last all of 48 hrs so he can fear for his life at least that long, then let the pounding begin.
  23. When I had a slow wreck at Putnam 2 years ago my SuperTech did too, zipper blew out completely. I called them on it, all they did was fix it free, nothing else. It 100% should not have failed in the way it did, that's for sure. Especially for the price. But their fix was good, so guess they made it right.
