  1. Good Luck with the sale. I have always like them Z's. If you just want it to get ridden I can take care of that for you.
  2. I was up and down there yesterday. S. River to 528, north to river, west to Blair, do a loop down thru there and come back east on Ford to Ross. Finishing up on Cold Cork Springs. Footville Richmond is alright also for some decent corners.
  3. My dogs roam the home freely when we are home and not. If an intruder came in with my wife, 3 children and myself there the dogs will greet them and alert us and next to my bed is a loaded 380. Pop the trigger lock off and make my presence known that I'm armed and will shoot. Wife has been told to do the same. Once the family is secure call 911. In all honesty if I needed to fire my weapon and my dogs are in the the way. Bye bye dogs. Although with a snarling German Shepard and a Leopard dog looking you in the face I doubt they'd come in the door. If it came to the dogs safety or my kids and wifes safety the dogs come in last. People who know us for years won't (again) attempt to come in the house when their not invited because of my mangy mongrels.
  4. 50 degrees in NEO today, really?
  5. Well, this kind of addresses my point of mentioning I was a plow guy. Reason being no matter what the sky decided to drop on us I had to get to work, no excuses. If I couldn't get to my truck I would be fired and never had I not been able to go do my job. Like most everything else it's has a lot to do with the driver. I used to love driving in the snow to the extent I couldn't sleep if I knew I would need to plow. With my Subaru L wagon on the other hand I was driving from Mentor to North Bloomfield (46 miles one way) Mon-Fri for two years and never had any issues getting to work all the way thru the whole stinking snow belt. Awd is a wonderful thing. Maybe next year I'll throw some snow tires on there and put it to the test. Although I will miss the 4 wheel drifting I have become accustomed to with my all seasons.
  6. Harsh winter- Sure isn't happening here. At least not yet! hahaha
  7. Mags, I plowed snow for 15 years, driven with god knows how many tires and Blizzaks were by far the best, studded tires on trucks and rear wheel drive (80's vintage)cars included. There was a Pirelli in there that was pretty good but it was back in high school. I
  8. Glad you all made it out alright. Crazy freaking Floridians!
  9. I run all seasons on my Legacy. When I had a Honda Prelude I used Blizzaks. Blizzaks on a Subaru would be very nice but unnecessary imo. Although if I had the cash to do it sure. AWD + Blizzaks you'd be unstoppable.
  10. GLWS. Although i wouldn't call it a streetfighter. It's a nicely modded 1st. gen sv.

    ADV rider

Adventure rider is cool. Although I'm not quite cut out to be the "adventurer":nono: I have the same name there as everywhere.
  12. This is the one I use at work. Works well for the purpose. Can't tell you how it would hold up outside over the winter. http://www.motorcyclegear.com/parts/closeouts/accessories/nelson_rigg/falcon_defender_3000_motorcycle_cover.html
  13. Beside the fact I ride a standard, much like Issac's papa I typically avoid the slab like the plague. It does come in handy for those got to get there quick days. Usually only when I'm on my way back from a ride or on my way to a ride. The freeway doesn't count as a ride, mindless (unless in traffic.) Way to boring. Plus I always want to pin it and go as fast as possible because I hate being there. Hell, the Sv only does a buck thirty tops and that's just not that fast and the motor wants to So going fast on the freeway just ain't worth it, no way. Woop, woop.
  14. Everyone I know that has heated gear sports Gerbings. Currently I just layer up. Which made this weekends trip kind of frustrating. Specifically because I couldn't enjoy the roads as much because I felt tight and restricted. Anyways the gloves and liners I've seen are nice quality and seem to work good for the guys I know that have them.
  15. Very nice Hoblick. The ride camera is awesome!
  16. Wish I could tell you Doc. The majority of the road pics are from a secondary rd. in PA. The others were Rt. 50 in WV/MD. Rt. 50 is orgasmic! To bad the good sections were so good I wasn't stopping to take pictures. You'll just have to ride down and see for yourself. btw it's an easy two day trip. We ended up about 120-150 miles from Washington DC. Romney, WV if I remember correctly. 117 miles according to google maps.
  17. I should have spent more time on this shot. Maybe some day I'll make it back to this spot and try again. Until then it's back to work.
  18. Crossing the OHio River into WV on 30. Ran into some hunters North of Washington, PA. Basically the same area as last mentioned. lil road porn. Cool Springs Park in WV on Rt. 50 lil more road porn Conducting operations. A place to rest your head On the way home. Back in Ohio somewhere near Rt.332 At the Sheetz in Ravenna all by my lonesome Hope you all got out last weekend. I doubt November is going to give us many more good day to ride. Take what you can get!
