Like the "oh shit oh shit oh shit" moment a few weeks ago?
We each had one or two of those. The best was you and the bridge for the Appalacian Trail;
"wow, that's really cool"
"yes it is"
"umm, you can hear me?"

Life gets simpler when you turn off the VOX and just use manual controls. I gave up on VOX the first trip with mine a couple years ago.

VOX works for me 99% of the time. I'm not sure it's wind noise when it doesn't, atleast in my set-up. I have a Nolan N104 and use the boom mike.. I have been rolling down the road at 75+ and had a phone conversation with the other party not realizing I am on the bike. I do think that the Sena unit does get confused and locks up from time to time but for the functionality and features, it's a minor inconvenience..
The open mike issue does add some humor to any given ride. ?

FU Cleveland! A hockey brought you your first pro championship a week before the Cavs.Oh, and they are the Blue Jackets farm team. Chew on that!
So funny that a city that was burning the Quenns jersey a few years ago is now swinging on his schwetty balls. Stay classy Cleveland.

In the OR economy that might get you a one legged, blind in one eye midget with the Herp.

Looks great! The bonus is you just bumped the value substancially just by painting the frame if you were going to flip it.

Looks even better in person. Really nice helmet.

Thanks. Every listing I have seen says you need to order the bike specific ring in addition to the pack.

Oh how I love this time of year. Some getting geeked for the trip, some dropping out as usual and shit talking getting taking to new heights!! Always makes for an epic weekend.

And they are lucky I don't have kids in school. If your kid shows my kid horse porn I am beating your ass.
Absolutely! I am not even remotely subtle when it comes to my kids.

Funny you should mention that. Yesterday bunch of kindergartners looking at porn. The terms they search for are sad.... girls sucking dick... women peeing....Breaks my heart that the world has progressed to this. Nothing wrong with that kind of thing just not at that age. Be a kid at least for a few years.
Parents suck, there is no doubt about it.
Wow! most of the parents probably laughed it off as them being "cute". Having a 9 y/o and 11 y/o is tough. Jill and I try to shelter them from it as much as we can but the shit that their friends and teammates talk about is eye opening. Most of if was stuff I didn't give 2 shits about until Jr. High or later.

Welcome to OR! Tonic is in school IT (i.e. busting kids looking at porn and screwing with teachers) and Casper is a "DB Consultant" (i.e. I surf Reddit and the like while traveling the globe). Don't let them fool you.

In my sick twisted way it is amusing to watch you ex-trailer queens scramble before the gap trip.
No scrambling here. I have the factory hard bags and a tail bag already. Just looking for convenience. You just worry about not spilling your 64oz Big Gulp hanging off your bars while you ride that road couch.

Thanks for the information. I will most likely go down this path before the Gap trip.

Jeeps have been ridiculously overpriced since yuppies discovered them in the early 90s.
that is, coincidentally, when they started putting carpet in the things. Who the hell wants carpet in a jeep?
Have you been leaving notes around town?

Looking for insight from anyone who has used the Givi tank lock system. Thinking about pulling the trigger on a tank bag. I have a plastic tank and not a big fan of strapping a bag to the tank so I have limited choices. Thanks in advance.

My other plans for this weekend have officially fallen apart. I belive that I will be in if I can find a room and all that good stuff. I will probably end up riding down unless I find some trailer space.
You should be able to find a place to sleep. As to if you won't feel violated when you wake up, well that should be your bigger concern. Ben and I are planning to head out around Noon on Wednesday if you want to ride with us.

I bought the same bag for the trip to the Gap. It worked out even better than expected. I always held off on buying a tank bag because I was always concerned about how it would impact my movement. No issues at all with this bag and would recommend it for the ST crowd.
