in the future, consider just updating your original thread and not making a new thread. otherwise, you'll need to start using the trophy emoticon moarr. getting your valves checked (much less, adjusted) is bit expensive of a fix, especially for such a new bike. have you posted up on the kawi forums to see if their tech forum can help you? does it make that ripping/tearing noise in all gears? please don't find out if the sound occurs in 6th gear, but does it happen in 1st and 2nd (maybe 3rd and 4th if you're at the track) consistently?

i don't remember everything from my one (and so far, only) visit to vegas, but i do recall that bottles of patron and some other liquor was $500/bottle at the so called VIP table. we paid for it anyway because we were collectively too drunk to know any better, but as a group, we were up by quite a bit so it was ok. the more drunk i got, the more I won. it was that, or the more drunk i got, the worse at math i was so i thought i was winning. either way, my winnings paid for hotel, food, liquor and strippers, so i assume i did okay.

i have a hard time "out riding" my pirelli corsa III's in intermediate, and the one time the rear got squirrelly on me was when my wrist got squirrelly on the throttle. the only reason i switched to pilot powers and 2ct's this year was cause they are on sale like whoa. what are OEM tires on gsxr750s? powers? if so, try a track day or two on them first (unless the tires are burnt up already) and then decide if you need a "better" tire. that said, if you just don't have confidence in the tires, then nothing anybody says will persuade you otherwise, so in the end, it's your call. if it were me, before i plunked down 2~3 bones for a set of new tires, i'd run what i had first assuming they were in good shape. welcome to the board

i love it when awesome things happen during vacations. the first and only time i was in venice I was visiting my gf in various parts of europe during the so called study abroad), i woke up to the sounds of splashing water. Apparently, during the "high tide season" (spring and fall or something like that) the water level gets up higher than the street level, so all the streets were flooded. thankfully, this was only during the early morning ~ afternoon so it was no biggie. but funny.

first on my list of things to do is to buy a replacement wheel/tire if i can. i have to figure out what pattern it's mounted on so i can pick up something that'll fit without interfering with clearance too much. the car pulled the trailer around no problem, but we'll see how it does with a bike or two loaded on the back. now i need good cheap wheel chocks, if such a thing exists.

and the disaster begins: it's a 4x8, has 12" wheels which are smaller than what I wanted, but after reading up online for a couple hours, it seems like they'll be alright, especially for shorter trips to nelson's, beaverun, and mid ohio. should be able to carry 2 bikes if necessary. i was pretty surprised by how easy it was to tilt and move the trailer by the ball receiver. that's what she said.

ya, i was just going on memory from when I did my first track day last april (mid oh i think it was). glad you came to clear it up, it's always better to hear from someone who knows what the hell they're talking about, lol.
