  3. i heard laser pointers work great. that said, i had someone do mine for me too. which is funnay, cause i bought the circular saw and everything, but then said fuggit and dropped off the parts to the shop since they had the bike already for the full exhaust install.
  4. I got a room with 2 double beds, so if anyone needs a room, i'm happy to split the bi0tch with you.
  5. i've booked a room (2 double beds) so if anyone needs a room, let me know. i'm happy to split it. it says it can hold 4 people, but... yeah. those beds are kinda small. but in a pinch, i'm sure it can be done.

yup, nowadays, he is wrenching on bikes for himself. he's been marketing himself as a ducati specialist (and he really knows his ducs) but he's been working on all sorts of bikes for a while.

  8. ...i have no idea where it is. i've only had people bring sammiches for me from the place... i've never actually been. but it was fucking good! this is the address: 3106 Saint Clair Avenue cleveland, oh i think it's near downtown or midtown or something.
  9. fuck mario's half wit brother. slyman's all the way! corned beef piled to the moon, son!
  10. i just loaded up a 5500w generator into the back seat of a impreza sedan and it was a bi0tch. i almost had to spit on it to get it to slip in. then i remembered when i had my much smaller mini cooper s, i could've just opened up the back hatch and plopped the fucker in there, no fuss. i miss having a hatchback.

    What shop?

ya, don't be afraid of the fact that he works out of his garage... he probably has more invested in his tools than most of us do in our bikes.
  12. oh shit, completely forgot about slymans. let's do that!
  13. just go to Siam Cafe. i'm not even saying that for obvious reasons. it's just fucking good. but i like melt. lol

  16. Helmet: OGK FF-4 medium here is a review: http://www.webbikeworld.com/r2/ogk/ff4/ i have another one of these in large that i wore for 3+ years (I ordered both from a company in england since they didn't have the european spec helmet in the states that I could find. the euro spec is lighter by a significant margin). i'll be wearing it next year too (along with my shoei). it's in great shape... it is, by far, the lightest helmet i've had, and has a LOT of nice features. I tried this helmet on once, but the large fit me better. asking $200 + ship we could work out a meeting up somewhere. i'm located 30 min NE of cleveland, and i'm in columbus frequently. OEM header I have OEM headers off of my 2003 600rr that I took off when I put on a full system. They had approx 13000 miles on them when they were taken off. They are in good shape with no damage. I'll try to post pics, but OEM headers aren't typically very sexy to look at. I can't imagine asking for more than a $100 for the headers.
  17. if you're looking to pick up someone's used pair, you might consider telling people what your shoe size is. and instead of the shorty semi-riding boots, i'd just go with a pair that is full coverage, but easy to put on... maybe something like these: http://www.motostrano.com/bonneville.html dont have to be puma's or anything like that, but a boot similar to that will provide good ankle protection and full coverage while not breaking the bank, especially if you find some on sale from one of our many fine sponsors.
  18. i dunno, dubai's a pretty nice vacay spot... well, until you get raped and then put in jail for having consensual sex with a rich old dude that you just got engaged to. but then, shitty things happen to tourists everywhere.
  19. CDNN has the CZ Brno Defender in 9mm for $299 as well. CZ makes some damn good guns.
  20. i'm thinking they let her go after a good caning.
  21. there are plenty of little FFL's (even individuals who happen to have FFL's) who will transfer a gun for less than $30 (I think i've seen some who will do it for like 10 or 20). check out ohioccwforums.org
  22. it almost looks like he needs to invest in rearsets or needs to hang his upper body out more cause his toes are dragging pretty hard through the turn... or he just needs to tuck his feet in. I dunno, i'm a bitch rider, so i make guesses.
  23. nice find! i didn't even bother looking at the rest of the line up. .40sw, many would say, is even better for self defense (if you concealed carry or open carry) and for home protection, though you should really have a shotgun for the latter. bud's gun shop is a good vendor, I've purchased from them in the past. Pretty fast shipping. Just need an FFL to ship it to, and you're set. And in case anyone is wondering, no i have no relationship nor any interest in anyone buying this gun... just looked like a good deal.
