    Where's Bambi?

who said what to him? was there a big thread i missed?
  3. if your mom's friend wants to repair some leathers for fun (and profit) you might ask her to advertise here. we've had quite a few crashes this year (myself included) on the track and street, and i'm sure a few people wouldn't mind having somewhere local to do the repairs. that said, alexa at spyder leather works is pretty awesome. a bit pricey at $40 per hour, but is pretty reasonable about the number of hours for a repair. the only bad thing is that there is an added cost to send the leathers out to her and the lead time.
  4. i heard that setting two sticks on fire on his yard was a real tongue in cheek way of saying, "I H8 U 4 evaR" configured in this arrangement: cue benny hill theme notice the shoes. that's where the bikini girls are from (with cankles... it was short notice, ok?!)
  5. i totally slurped down all the thick chowder out da wharf, like a boss wait, what? i ate at a couple different places. there was a sammich shop that was apparently on man vs food (it was good, but what i had wasn't that great). i had crepes with green tea ice cream and lychee in it. i had seafood at some place called pacific something (not memorable as you can see). ate at a all you can eat hot pot. and then the rest of the time was spent wandering the foggy covered beach, watching surfers paddle forever and ever. still love the place cause i know that not even a few miles south of the city, there are awesome roads along and off of the PCH. oh, and laguna seca. so rather than san fran, i really REALLY like the monterey and carmel area.
  6. ya, i was just saying they make caliper with just a dial, you just have to do the conversion (since most sold in the US read in inches). i was thinking you were thinking you needed a digital calipers to do the conversion for you (many have the inches to mm switch readout). just trying to be helpful! i H8 U!
  7. if you have regular calipers in inches, just take the measurement and multiply by 25.4
  8. holy hell batman. that's a nice deal! i'm already signed for beaver this weekend, so i can't go, but that is pretty awesome.
  9. i wouldnt want you bishes freaking out so... the clue is in this post: http://www.ohio-riders.com/showpost.php?p=339572&postcount=59 from this thread: http://www.ohio-riders.com/showthread.php?t=35449&page=2 don't ask me where i found that video... long story short, i was ridiculed for going to San Francisco for a long weekend, and was bombarded with these videos this past week. when that thread turned all gooey and lovey dovey, I thought I'd share the love. the bear love. edit: oh and i just gave out rep to everyone who posted until i was no longer allowed to give out rep.
  10. i just picked up a 2005 YZ250F. probably too much bike for me, but i'll take it easy.
  11. i'll have to take you up on that and we'll make it happen. does it hurt a lot more when you fall in the dirt during winter? lol
  12. that's why we're here! for the drama llama beat down

  13. honestly, i thought someone hacked their site to make it look like the gheyest POS evar.
  14. speaking of doing it in the dirt, anyone going to be at crowe canyon on sunday? i promise it'll be amusing to watch, since it'll be my first time in dirt, ever.
  15. i feel a lurking drama llama, ready to pounce. i'll try to watch for when it strikes, but they're usually like ninjas. i don't think there is a word for "llama" in ninjanese, though.
  16. no gravel that i noticed... but i was only there one day. a bit bumpy in parts (it gets worse the faster you go apparently). otherwise, a fun track, full of sweeping corners, and lots of high speed corners. the best part? only takes me an hour to get there, as opposed to like... grattan.

    My first (pet) dog

yeah, Gatsby loves the crate now. we put an inch thick foam pad in there (covered with some faux suede... almost like the softer cordura they use on seats). everytime he doesnt have much to do, he just saunters in there and plops down. moose, i should've asked you when i got the dog, lol. I was advised to look for a used one, but I got impatient and just picked one up. they're sort of pricey. we're gonna try to do the whole "leave food out all day". at some point do you stop putting food in it? or does the dog stop eventually? i wouldn't want him to have a blow out, of sorts.

    My first (pet) dog

well, it's been a month or two since we got him, and he's coming along great. he's one smart cookie, and we can confirm he was definitely house broken before we got him. whew. Gatsby learns new tricks after just a couple treat sessions... and amazingly enough, hasn't chewed up anything but his chew toys. we're working on getting his weight up since he hasn't gained a pound since we brought him home. we're feeding him about double what is normally fed to a dog his size. we're wondering if he's still growing or if the shelter was just completely wrong about his age. he had his second vet check up a week ago, and everything is good. now i'm trying to figure out what's he's made of. So far, I'm guessing he's got some Lab and pointer... but it's hard to say for sure since those are both pretty large breeds, and Gatsby's only 45lbs. I'm mulling over having one of those doggie DNA tests done. i don't care what he's mixed with and I have no problems at all with training him... just curious. have any guesses? for clues: -he's about 45lbs -he's all black, but just started growing in some dark grey hair underneath (looks like a winter coat?) -he has a crazy curly tail -he has big (like, bigger than what looks normal for his size) webbed feet -he has brown eyes
  19. my pride was already devastated by that one a year or two ago. bwhahaahaaha
  20. they wanted to use yellow people, but the alarms couldn't detect them. ninja, please.
