It was a 65, I talked to my newest sponsor, Kenda Tires, about the bike and confirmed motor size.  Don't remember the make.

As far as bike rental, I'll gladly let anyone here race/crash my bike as much as they want for free if you come down for a race or practice day.  It's so much fun.  First one's free.

Also, I'm happy with my '99XR for what it is, cheap and reliable, but the newer CRFs are faster probably because the motors are not as abused as the older ones.  Parts are totally interchangeable from '87 or so on.

when's the next time omrl is running or practicing close to cleveland area?  is this track the closest to cleveland or are there other tracks?  this one is 1.5 hrs away, so not horrible.  do any of the other racers bring their kids/family, so if i were to bring my daughter, she could have someone to play with while i make a fool of myself?

  3. if sam keeps whimpering like a little biatch, i'll buy it out from under him.  i have no idea what i would do with it since i already bought a hitch carrier, but i would buy it and name it the USS BiatchSkullCrusher

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

This is funny because I just overheard my facilities manager (also manages company vehicles) talking to a dealership about how one of our sales reps wants to tow his 32ft camper with his escape.

I went down a wormhole the other day looking up the ability to tow with my GTI.  It was interesting to see that the same vehicle in Europe is rated to tow more than here in the US.  And I get it Europe is smaller, doesn't have miles and miles of 70+ speed limit highways, etc, etc.  Didn't people tow campers with the big domestic station wagons back in the 80's?

But anyway...  I have  a friend that tows one of those single rail/fold up motorcycle trailers with his Mazda 3 wagon to track days; it looks sketchy as all get out, but it works.

the golf pulling the camper was an extreme example, and yet, it happens constantly in europe during holidays.  but dialing that back a bit, coupled with we're talking about pulling something a few times a year, tops.... i don't see the big deal.  yeah, if you're pulling stuff constantly, then get a big old truck or suv or whatever.

Edited title rather than start new thread.

Only hitch available for my car that I can find is a class I, 200 lb tongue weight, 2000 lb tow capacity. Would this be appropriate for hauling a sport bike and trailer? Anyone have experience here? People aren't lining up to give me a lift to the track so.....

I was towing 2 bikes on a open trailer with my g35 coupe so I think you'd be fine. Stop being a sissy and just do it.

  7. IT PUTS THE LOTION ON ITS SKIN OR IT GETS THE HOSE AGAIN.

but seriously, try putting approved leather oils/lotions/conditioner in the specific areas you want it to stretch.  wear it around the house and keep applying product every once in a while and I'm sure those high stress areas will stretch out to asom
